Our experience with SBS was excellent. Megan and Paula in the office were professional and most helpful in getting our appointment scheduled. Hunter, our technician did a great job during the service call. Unfortunately the malfunctioning system needed to be replaced. Jason and Michael were thorough, informative, and helpful when providing a quote to replace both our upstairs and main level heating and cooling systems. They listened to our concerns regarding improvements we wanted to see, especially with certain rooms upstairs, and made appropriate recommendations to remedy hot/cold spots. The installation went very smoothly. The team arrived when promised each day and were extremely careful while working in our home. At the end of each day, they cleaned the work space and made sure they left nothing behind. Brian, Justin, Michael, and Jason were all here at various times working together. All were professional, friendly, and very committed to doing a great job. Providing excellent service and total customer satisfaction is truly a priority with each of these guys. We are very pleased with the work that was done and highly recommend SBS for HVAC maintenance or system replacement.

After having American Home Shield for over ten years, you learn that companies must jump through many hoops to service their customers that are assigned to them in the best way possible. Patience is certainly important! SBC-NC finally figured out what was wrong with my AC system. They were the third company to come out in the past month and the first one to diagnose the problem and repair it correctly. Hunter was extremely professional and definitely had the knowledge to get the job done!

We had a great experience with SBS-NC. We were having difficulties with our A/C and after contacting the folks at SBS-NC everything went very smoothly. From the ladies that answered the phone to the guys that came out for the inspection and installation, my wife and I were very pleased.

This company was assigned by American Home Shield. When I contacted them they indicated that someone would text me between 12-4. Never heard anything u til 9:06 pm. The service tech showed up at 10:05. Stayed 15 minutes indicated that my problem was ANTS in my air conditioning system. They asked me if I had any bug spray. I did not, that’s when one of the techs showed how to take panel off and spray. My unit had started working prior to them getting. Well this evening, I had to call American Home Shield to have another company come out. Highly disappointed. No real diagnosis done.

I had a leak from my AC, and they came promptly to fix it. After a few days, I noticed there was still a very small leak and they came back hours after I called to look again. They were quick and efficient and knowledgeable. Mason and Andrew answered all my questions and looked all around the house to ensure there were no other causes for the leak and fixed all the issues they found. Very professional company technicians!

Matthew and Drake come to our home almost 2 weeks ago. Matthew fed us some mess about not being able to check our freon because our coils needed to be cleaned which was not covered under our home warranty. They also said our air filter needed to be changed and then they took my payment for my home warranty deductible and went on their way. I did a little more investigating and found out he was full of it and had to call the home warranty back. They tried to get in touch with this company for a week straight before contract relations had to get involved. Finally, I got my second opinion through a different company approved through my home warranty and sure enough my second opinion came out and within 5 minutes told me something was wrong and actual found and fixed the problem. In addition, they never went under the house to check my AC handler which is where the problem was. In the beginning, I didn't know better because I know nothing about HVAC but now that I know, I want others to know not to let these people take you for a ride.

If I could give this company a zero I would. By far the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. A technician came to my home on 06/18/20 to repair my heatpump. At that time we were advised that we needed a part that would need to be ordered and would be in the following Tuesday 06/23/20 here it is 07/01/20 and still no heatpump repaired. I have left repeated messages which have yet to be returned even though the voicemail states they will call you back by the end of the day. What a joke!!! I am with American Home Shield which I have called everyday and held for over an hour for them to tell me that they had to leave a message also. In the mean time we had to go out and purchase two window units to survive these 95 degree days. I am not a hard person to please and this is the first google review that I have ever done but I definitely feel it is very much warranted. Do yourself a favor and go with a repuable company that can get the job done.
I just realized this is the same company that worked on my heatpump in January that left off the top peace covering the wiring. Like I said do yourself a favor and run.

I wish I could say the same as the others but unfortunately my experience has not been great. My AC unit went out in August and I chose SBS because the first company that AHS wanted to send could not come out for a week and I wanted/needed my AC unit repaired as soon as possible. So, SBS came out and did repair my unit rather quickly. However, 2 weeks later my AC unit went out AGAIN and I had to call AHS and SBS back to reopen my contract and have my AC unit repaired. The Tech came back out and said that I needed my coil replaced. It took nearly 2 weeks if not more for the part to come in. I had to make another appointment to have the coil replaced which was another week. The Tech came out to replace the coil FINALLY I recieved a text message while I was at work saying the job was done. I'm thankful and looking forward to a cool home and good night sleep after weeks of living in a hot house. My husband got home from work before me and calls to say the AC is still not working . I call SBS to see what's going on and I'm told that now the compressor is out and will need to be replaced but the part has to be ordered and I'm reassured that it will be in by the beginning of the next week (this week). When I didn't hear from them this week I gave them a call to check the status of my service request and I'm told today that the part is still not in and I'm reassured once again that my AC unit will be repaired by no later than the end of next week. I am still waiting for it to be repaired and suffering in what feels like 100+° weather. It's ridiculous that I am having to wait over a month to have my unit repaired when it should have been done right the first time. All of that being said, Megan has been very nice. But nice isn't cutting it when I have to go another week in this hot house and have a infant living in my home it's miserable and uncalled for. Unfortunately I signed a contract so I'm stuck otherwise I would have called Eanes and been done with this weeks ago!!!

I had a repair appointment scheduled with this company this morning. I did not receive a phone call prior to the technician coming out to the property although they did send a text message at 7:30 a.m. By the time I got the text and walked around the corner to the property, the technician was gone and had left card in the door. I've never had a contractor fail to call and introduce themselves prior to arrival. I've called the company phone number several times since 8:00 and no one has answered. I also sent an email and a reply text and have yet to receive any acknowledgment.

The technicians that replaced my heating & AC units were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I love the look and functionality of my new unit. I would recommend this company to anyone needing HVAC maintenance, repair, or replacement. Thank you for a job well done.
