Hands down, fantastic customer service! Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night, called Kay first thing in the morning, and they went above and beyond to get here the same day to help. The tech was friendly and incredibly efficient. It was pouring rain and at one point we even lost power. He stayed outside in the rain and made sure our AC was fixed! I highly recommend.

We have a mini split system and tried a few other companies to fix our A/C before we finally found Kay. Tyson came out to work on it for us and he was phenomenal! He was quick, efficient, and worked hard to troubleshoot the problem. We will definitely be using Kay in the future for any and all of our mini split needs! Thank you!

Warranty is worthless and shoddy installation.

Purchased a heatpump and installation in 2011. This cost about $8,000. I alerted Kay Heating that it buzzes (vibrates) loudly when heat is on. They did nothing to fix the vibration. One year later, the motor breaks, most likely due to excessive vibration. They charged labor for the fix. Asked them to fix vibration issue, they did not. The next year the inside coil breaks (most likely due to excessive vibration), they charge $600 to fix. Asked them to fix vibration issue, they did not. Next year a valve breaks (once again, possibly due to excessive vibration)and they want $900 to fix it. Every year since I've had this thing it has cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars to fix, plus the hundreds of extra dollars spent on electricity because the thing DOES NOT WORK.

I've had one of their guys come to my house smelling like he just got done smoking pot.

Slow to get our heat back on. Did not keep us updated on changing timeline to effect repair. Once situation changed on their end we were not updated.

Made appnt on line on sunday pm for monday am time. They had not contacted us by 9:30 am monday so I had to call them to see what was going on.

Once tech came out on Monday he advised me motor should be in Tuesday between 9 and 11 am. By 1pm having not heard from them my manager called them. They would not track parts order at my manager request so as to give us accurate info on when it would be fixed.

I had to call myself and push them to do this. This revealed that our part(motor) had not been shipped by their vendor, contrary to what we were told so Tuesday repair was delayed another day. All the while we are having to heat our business with gas heaters and managing bottled gas supply to keep this going would require knowing when they would have it fixed was very important.

Service rate was high ($525.00)for 175.00 motor that I had already told them was what was broken. Including that I provided motor part # etc. Was a regular hours not night or weekend repair.

Not good experience for us. Would only use again if they were only option.

Wonderful people to work with! Fixed my air conditioner fast and were very knowledgeable about what they were doing. I could tell that the technicians have years of experience and I would recommend them.

I have had multiple dealings with Kay. This company is a prime example with what is wrong with heating and air conditioning. From dishonesty to overpricing. I have seen multiple charges for repairs that were never made by a technician. This company thrives on sending incompetent technicians to your home that are unable to fix your AC just so they can sell you a new system or send another technician out to charge you again.

The Guys just came today and they were so nice . They explained what they did and also showed me the problem part. I also asked them if they could take a look at my sun room unit. Did not charge me to take a look at that unit, only what they were called to do. Kay Air and Heat guys are professional. Thanks for a quick response!!!

I highly recommend Kay Heating and Air Conditioning for any heating and cooling services in the Triad. The staff is very polite and helpful. Their knowledge and service is top notch!
