You quoted an outrageous $7928 for an Amana 2 ton, 16 SEER heat pump and air handler, including installation. Cost of material maximum $2000. So the $6000, 75% of total cost, is for labor, overhead and profit? A total rip-off. Oh, but i could pay it off over 5 years at 6%+ interest. Uncompetitive too.
