Just had Bryant-Durham do what turned out to be major repairs on our AC. The service was superior! They came when scheduled, even called to let me know they were on the way! The explanation of what needed doing was clear, and the work was done neatly and competently. The office staff (Carol) was very helpful, and the technician (Brad) was extremely knowledgeable, kind, polite, and considerate. I could not have asked for better. WIsh there were six stars!
Demetrius was the project lead for our electrical upgrade for all of the two-prong, non-grounded outlets in our house. He came the day before the project was scheduled to begin to be sure he'd have all the materials he needed ready by the next day and also plan out the order of steps. We had other requests as well: installation of exterior outlets, re-connection of a motion sensor light, re-installation of a bathroom light, and few other odd things.
Demetrius took care of the request list and more -- he went above and beyond on multiple things and caught a few hazardous situations we had never known about.
I think the work took a total of five days over a two-week period (holiday timing) and Demetrius/D'Wayne took care of manageable chunks of work each day that never left us without power/AC, etc. by the time they left.
Good people, reasonable price for the scope of work, and done in a timely fashion. Would definitely hire them for work in the future, but I don't think we'll have to! :)
Mr. Demetrius Allen provided exceptional service today to restore electricity to my home and troubleshoot doorbell problems-- He is honest, trustworthy, efficient, personable, and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to listen and advise me. He provided a very reasonable estimate for future work to install 3 receptacles in order to increase capacity in the kitchen and utility room.
I went to Bryant-Durham's webpage to fill out a request for someone to come to my home to see about my electrical problem. Within a couple of hours I received a call asking when I wanted someone to come out. The day of the service, Mr. Trey Osbourne came to my house ahead of time (that rarely happens with house calls these days). . I told him the problem, and he went right to it and diagnosed the problem within a minutes time. Mr. Osbourne resolved the situation in about 15 to 20 minutes tops. In addition to his good work, he showed excellent customer service skills, which is hard to come by nowadays. If I have anymore electrical problems in my home, I will definitely connect with Bryant-Durham Services again. The professionalism, customer service and good work was much appreciated!
Do not recommend. Very Rude. I called about an emergency electrical issue and was hung up on. They have a 24 hour service, yet do not do emergency calls.
Brad came to my home today to give me an estimate for a new gas-pack unit. He was very courteous, professional and friendly and provided me an estimate within 30 minutes for two Trane systems. In December 2018, Bryant-Durham Services installed a new Generac Generator. Chris Wolfe was an excellent engineering technician-salesman, and he followed up with me every step of the way--before, during and after installation to ensure that my wife and I were happy customers. Thank you, Bryant-Durham!
I cannot say enough good things about Bryant Durham. I called them in after another vendor left my house in shambles. From the time of my first phone call, every person I have worked with has been great. I have used both the electrical and hvac divisions. The entire staff has exceptional customer service. They are always timely, and the technicians have and gone above and beyond to what I asked, and better than I hoped for, from start to finish.
It's easy to get taken advantage of. Or (what happened to me) you can unknowingly have work done by people who are either ignorant or don't care about doing a good job - then you are left with the bill and consequences. If you want an electrical or hvac company whose work you will never have to worry about, Bryant Durham is the one to call.
With the decline of people entering the skilled trades, it was so nice to have an intelligent and courteous technician and student intern work on a long list of electrical items from a recent home inspection. The tech easily corrected all the issues. It was encouraging to see the tech passing along his knowledge and experience to the student intern. There is still hope for good quality service and you are leading the way. Thank you Bryant-Durham.
Recently I had Bryant Electric to install two new outside lighting fixtures in the front of my home. The technician did a terrible job installing the lights and they do not work properly. I contacted Bryant Electric and they will not return my calls. They took my money and refuse to correct the situation. Would not recommend Bryant Electric to anyone.
Recently scheduled BD to correct problems caught on a county inspection report with a system Bryant Durham installed. Bryant Durham canceled the appointment minutes before service repairman was to arrive. Repairman showed for appointment next day without materials to complete the job WITH A DETAILED county inspection report. Terrible customer service. I wasted two afternoons waiting for them to do their job and still don't have a completed job.
