Monarch Air, Heat & Geothermal

I was interested in installation of a new air source heat pump. I received six quotes, four through Duke Energy and two independent. Monarch fell into the latter category. The professionalism was obvious from the beginning. Their pricing was transparent and they were very patient with my questions. After some discussion, they even were able to adjust pricing to honor discounts offered by some competitors.

Overall, I am quite happy with the service provided and would recommend. Given the small size of the company, I do worry about longitudinal servicing for any technical issues (they favor Bosch products, which seem not to be popular in the CLT area and therefore may not have widely available and knowledgeable technicians).

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honest when it came to diagnosing the issue with our HVAC. Being first time home owners, we peppered him with questions and he was patient enough to walk us through step-by-step and even went so far as to give us a tutorial on managing airflow through the house. Amazing service, and we will definitely be calling monarch should anything else happen in the future.

This is the second time they came out. Both times the service was excellent. Ryan came out 1st and replaced the standard dual run capacitor. Then we had some problems with it running roughly. Andrew came out and cleaned it and everything is running fine. Both gentlemen were very thorough and inspected everything. They were also very patient and explained everything they did and answered all our questions. In addition, the charges were incredibly reasonable I am beyond happy with this company. It is nice to be able to trust a company in this day and age.

Have tried a few different HVAC companies over the years, but these guys are the best. Prompt friendly service and they do top notch work. Wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Monarch came out to give an estimate on replacing some duct work, an air handler and plenums in a home we are buying. We explained we were under contract for the home. They were very responsive with good communication and came out quickly so we could incorporate their professional estimate and knowledge in our negotiations.
