So quick and professional! Our tech was Tyler and he was wonderful to work with. Very reasonable rates.

After reading reviews here and on nextdoor I had high hopes for Phil N Great. We had them come and check our unit for excess humidity (which they did for $80). They diagnosed that we needed to replace the duct work throughout our house. I asked for an estimate and haven't heard back from them since (it's been a week and a half). I've called and emailed and have heard nothing but crickets. Poor experience. Moving on.
Update 7/29/18
After my original post the owner called and recommended a different approach (he didn't feel replacing our ducts would remedy the humidity issue) so he recommended adding a dehumidifier (est. $1k-2k). We eventually decided to try a less costly approach first and when his technician came to do the work he realized that our coils simply needing cleaning. He did the work and topped off the freon (at no cost this time). It's a little frustrating that the first technician didn't catch that problem but thankful that they were able to fix it in the end. Upgraded them from my original 1 star to 3 stars for the second effort.

Another update. Giving credit where credit is due. Catlin and his team have won my trust since my original post. They have been responsive and professional in the interactions we've had since then. Upgraded them to 5 stars. Thanks for your hard work guys!

This is the second time I have used Phil N. Great service and they are great indeed. On time, very efficient, professional, friendly, and not trying to talk you into doing or buying some extra stuff like all previous companies I used. Highly recommend!

Phil N. Great did a great job replacing my AC unit. They knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it in a matter o and the price was very affordable. I also learned more about my AC unit. I would recommend Phil N. Great Heating, Cooling & Refrigeration to anyone who has an issue with their unit. They are honest and very knowledgeable about heating and cooling units.

I can not begin to tell you how great Jared was to work with! Our AC went out and another HVAC company came out and said I was low on freon and my compressor was damaged. Immediately I was being talked into a full replacement (I figured out later their quote included a new furnace, which I didn't need). We got a second quote from another well named company and I was dealing with a real salesman that was adding in unnecessary work I didn't need. A third big name company missed two appointments before finally showing up and spent 5 minutes looking at our system and 4 days later I still don't have a quote.
Jared was recommended by a friend and he was just terrific. I had to push our meet time twice do to family stuff and he was completely understanding. He spent time talking with me about specifically what would be needed and more importantly what WASN'T needed. Ultimately he recommended recharging the system and trying to get a another year or two out of the system before taking the plunge on a full system replacement. The compressor is working (I was told it was shot by others) and so far we are good.
On top of that Jared gave me good advice on maintaining my system and even gave the compressor a quick cleaning to help it. Finally he gave me a a very good quote and made me feel confident that if our system does end up going, he'd have it replaced and we'd be treated fairly.
I am a small business owner myself and really appreciate the individual attention and customer service I received from Jared. You will not go wrong with this company!

We had a streak of bad luck with all three of our AC units. Phil N. Great was quick to communicate, arrive, and repair all of our systems and at a great price. Will definitely use them again.
