These folks graciously accommodating us in the middle if other major service calls. They came, completed the requested work and also informed me of other items that needed attention, even non-hvac related issues. The helpful demeanor and honest spirit of these gentlemen along with their overall knowledge level impressed me! These are the kind of people you want caring for my property and my family. Delighted and grateful to work with this Company.
Called this company on July 4th and they answered the phone. Star #1 I was terrified of what a holiday call would cost and knowing that they could possibly be booked out further. they put me on the schedule for the next day Star#2 Kenyon Called and said he would be at my home in 15 min before he arrived Star #3 ( and was actually closer to 10 min) When I described the problem and I thought it might be a bad motor Kenyon said well lets start with the capacitor and hope its that. After a meter reading and confirming a near immediate diagnosis, (Star #4) He had the part on the truck and installed less time than it took him to get there Star #5 He explained that the Part was a commercial grade part and slightly more expensive than what I could find elsewhere and had a 1 yr warranty. that type of integrity and honesty would earn this company 5 more stars if I could add them here. From Jamie on the phone to the helpers on the truck this is a quality company that is as responsive as they can be. They had 12 more stops that day. I Know its hard when your hot and miserable but being nice to a company that is busy will go a long way.

We are thankful to have found such a down-to-earth company to help us with our HVAC needs. We moved into our new home a little less than a year ago and they've been out to help with HVAC maintenance and the random time our Google Nest went wonky and decided to start heating our home instead of cooling it. (Note: Google Nests are not the best!). Each time they have been in our home, they have been courteous and extremely helpful. They explain things thoroughly and give their honest opinions. I can’t say enough nice things about K&W. I’ve been using K&W on my old system for a while. I needed replacement and finally decided to pull the plug and knew K&W would be my go to. Everyone I’ve ever interacted with has been wonderful. Such a great business!!
Tech was great, very polite and courteous and was able to come out same day. However, once he arrived my unit was back up and running and he wasn’t able to assess what was wrong. I had asked him after what I owed and he said since he couldn’t figure out what was wrong not to worry about it. One week later I was invoiced (which I was willing to pay) however I was told three times to pay the invoice within 30 days of service which was I found to be unprofessional not to even allow a net30 terms of payment.

On 4-13-2023(Thur) Kenyon and Alex came out very promptly to a code my thermostate was throwing(blower communication error). After 30-45 min. Kenyon reported to me the computer boards are not communicating, he told me, and I quote, "there is no way to determin which board is not functioning correctly so they BOTH MUST be replaced. He said not to worry, the unit should be under warranty since it's less than 10 yrs. old. I said good deal, let me know. Later that day, Bailey, who gets 5 stars for customer service, called me and said they had to order BOTH parts and if they didn't come in Friday it would be Monday. I said that's fine let me know. Bailey called me back on Friday and told me "one part came in the other will be in on Monday". I then asked about an estimate for the job, She told me Kenyon should have emailed one to me. No email was ever sent. Monday Alex returned to repair my unit, I was out of town so after about 3 hrs. he knocked on the door, told my wife he's done and asked for payment. She paid $473 and he left. 4 hrs. later (8pm) the unit quit working throwing the same code. After the bill was paid I recieved an email with both the estimate and the paid reciept together. I was charged $226.80 to replace blower motor, $142 cleaning inside/outside unit, and $117 to pick up parts. Tuesday morning I called 5 star Bailey, told her my unit wasn't working and I asked her why only one part was replaced when I was told two MUST be replaced, and I asked about $117 parts pickup alone with the $145 cleaning that was not discussed. She was unsure of the charges, told me she would call Kenyon. Here comes the good part, 5 star Bailey called me back. I could tell she was uncomfortable being caught in the middle of this shady deal. She told me Kenyon said they would come back and fix the unit free of charge since I was charged fees that was not agreed on. I asked, "Bailey, was only one part replaced on my unit? She said "yes sir" the other part is in Kenyon's truck, Alex would have to go get it and return to replace it. I asked Bailey to have Kenyon call me to discuss these issues, 2 weeks later no call. Think about this a little deeper, Kenyon requested 2 expensive parts free to him under my warranty, only replaced 1. If by chance the 1 part fixed my unit I would have never known the difference and Kenyon now has a free part he would charge you retail price for. On the other hand, if at 10.5 yrs old my unit is out of warranty and I have the another board issue, the board that was stole from me is now 10+ yrs old with one 3 yrs old and I now have to pay out of pocked for something that was supposed to be replaced 2.5 yrs prior. This makes Kenyon a thief. I'm sure everyone gets charged $117 to "pickup parts" even when multipul customers parts are picked up on the same run. As far as doing me a favor by not charging me to return the second day because he charged me for something I didn't ask for, it was no favor at all, the job should have been completed honestly the first time, so I still paid for a service I wasn't aware of. Obviously Kenyon didn't pay attention to the smaller 22 yr old unit sitting next to the one he was working on. It's a ticking time bomb, You won't be replacing this on for me. Bottom line is, my unit was repaired, claiming to be "Christain" to decieve people and to lie and steel is............well pretty much in line with what is expected in 2023. Do youself a favor, call someone else, cross your fingers and hope you get an honest outfit.
My gas furnace stopped working during one of the coldest days of the year. Although I have a home warranty, I preferred to use this business, mostly due to the top notch service I received. Dashean was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure my furnace was repaired and serviced at the same time. He was very concerned that my kids and I were both freezing and trying to stay warm with our gas fireplace. He cares about his customers and that goes a long way. Would definitely recommend K & W to other people and will continue my business with them. Kudos to Dashean and his crew!!
