    I sooo miss Gregg Mechanical They sold out to Homeserve and they are 100% horrible. Canceled appointments, no notifications, 6 weeks lead time for appoints. 3 months to get an A/C tune up and the service was subpar Bob Mims is still local Staten Island contractor, give him your business

    We paid Greg mechanical to put in a new a/c system and radiant heat in our home. Our first floor bathroom was freezing and we needed to use a heater or else the pipes would freeze. The company had to come back and put a radiator in my first floor bathroom after trying to charge me $4000 for a job that we paid for. Greg admitted it was his company’s fault and he fixed it but astetically, we didn’t want a radiator in our bathroom. We wanted radiant heat. While his worker had to cut a hole in the wall and had to remove my oven. When he was finished, the poor man couldn’t lift my oven and took out 2 chuncks of my wooden cabinet. Also, he put the a/c unit in front of my house which sticks out like a sore thumb. And..as it turns out the A/C unit is not strong enough for the square footage of my house. In order to cool the home I was told by several companies that I would need another unit. Thanks, Greg Mechanical.

    Gregg Mechanical used to be a great HVAC company, they sold out to Homeserve. Run away as fast as you can. They took my $309 for a preventative plus yearly plan. I realized today (Nov.12th) that I haven't heard from them to do my heating inspection. When I called, they told me the soonest appointment was January 23rd, 2020. I cancelled my plan and asked for a refund and they will only refund me a partial refund. Are you serious. Be aware people.

    My family and I used to go with Scaran and other contractors for a couple of years. Now I wish we hadnt. When we called Gregg mechanical, they charged significantly less AND they even did a cleaner and better job! We had an indoor unit installed. The workers are professional and on time.
    Each time I call Gregg, the receptionists are ALWAYS extremely polite, efficient, and informative. I highly recommend this company because they have gained a loyal customer.
