Gregg Mechanical used to be an excellent company, good service, you spoke to the people in the office if you had a problem. After selling out to Home Serve, trying to get service is terrible. I paid 300 dollars for a service contract for my air conditioning and heating. No one called about my air conditioning appointment , as they used to do. By the time I called, I couldn't get an appointment until October, so I told them to skip it. I can't get an appointment for my heat until February 20, and they don't have late appointments for people who work, no Saturday appointments, you have to take a day off from work. I am not going to renew my contract with them, I will find a smaller company, who can give better service.
I’ve had a Service plan since I purchased my home and I just called to schedule my winter tune up and was told the next available date is January 21st! I told them at that point maybe I should have them do my Spring tune up that day as well??? Needless to say I’m shopping for another company in my area at this point no need to pay a monthly fee and have to wait over 2 months for something as simple as a tune up!
Very upsetting to find out that you have to pay for freon and you have to pay over $200 for a tracer with a sealent that the technician said might work if not it has to be done again the sealent itself cost $60 and I already paid over a thousand a year for service so shouldn't have paid just $60 for the application of the sealant since I already paid for the service unbelievable unbelievable I don't think I will remain a customer and their excuse that they have to pay for the repairman's time was a poor one since I already paid for the repairman's time since I'm being charged $51 in some sense every month for 12 months
Technician was very well versed in the workings of this equipment and came prepared to tackle the job with the knowledge to complete the job. Wish I would have taken a contract sooner.

Our tech, Claro, was great. Very efficient, very polite. He also gave us some good advice regarding our AC ventilation. A good job.
