a month ago i called to cancel the service because my monthly fee goes up every year. i started with $14 a month and after 3 years, the fee went up to about $30 a month. i was given a good discount to stay with them (and i did). good decision because, my heater broke and they came the same day i called. i am lucky i did not cancel - the technician fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes and of course no charge which could have probably cost me $200-$300.
They do not stock parts for the brands installed in the area. Technicians were professional and did as much as they could. The management of handlining repairs for what is installed in the region is unacceptable as they require an order and a overnight delay.
Anytime I’ve had a problem, HomeServe sends a knowledgeable repairman to take care of the issue. The company reception personnel are friendly and arrange the appointment as soon as possible, sometimes on the same day. I feel confident that when they arrive, my problem will be solved.
Call center was not very helpful. Systems were down. Woman told me she would keep my info and upload the emergency ASAP once systems came back on. I called an hour later to double check and she noted that i had called but the previous person did not set up any notes or state there was an emergency. I had to call back 3x before someone actually notated the account so the last rep could actually set up an appt once the system came back.
Just had new air conditioning and furnace installed . Extremely satisfied. Gentlemen were extremely professional , respectful and thorough. Explained everything as they were installing . And I must note , have me the best price . Thank you Gregg and family 😊👍🏽
Please don’t use this company. They installed a mini split Mitsubishi unit for us about five years ago. A system that is supposed to have the lowest maintenance has had problems every year. They installed the heads incorrectly and have never been able to find the refrigerant leak. The refrigerant disappears from the system almost every year now and we are left holding the bag because they never stood behind their work. We have called our other HVAC repair companies like Scaran and they too never found the leak. Gregg even charged us for coming out and not being able to find the problem not long after we were out of their 1 year warranty. Awful customer service, and as you can tell, they even botched the install.
The service technician showed up on time and he was wearing a protective mask and gloves and practiced social distancing showing concern for my husband’s and my health. He was very knowledgeable about the equipment in our house and when he left everything was working great! I highly recommend HomeServe for heating and air conditioning!
