Cold King Heating & Cooling

So my ac had a major Freon leak and was blowing out warm air. I know I needed to replace both the heating and ac so time to do research. I had called one contractor who gave me a price. I needed to get another quote. So I googled ac repeat and came across cold king. Such great reviews so I called. Very courteous gentleman said he will let teddy the owner know and he will give me a call. This was I a Wednesday And then got the call from teddy. He was in the neighborhood and said he could be over in ten minutes. Sure enough I never met a nicer man who sat down and explained everything about cooking and heating. He gave me a price which was far lower then first quote and I said I just needed to discuss with my boss(wife). We agreed I called him right back and said let’s do it. He said we could do it Friday I said awesome.

Friday came the unit was delivered in boxes and then his guys came. These guys were super professional clean and knew their stuff. Tony said this was one of the hardest jobs he’s done being unit was in a tiny closet.
So I am writing this in a very cool house and so happy I went with cold king. Everyone was so awesome and I just got a call from teddy who was checking up to make sure I was happy. Teddy you have a customer for life now thank you thank you thank you. You guys are the best.

Teddy and his crew (Tony, Marko and Nick) were the utmost professionals and I am happy to write a positive review for them. They just recently finished installing four Fujitsu mini split systems in my house quickly and seamlessly as well as in the most aesthetically pleasing way inside and outside the house. They were always patient and informative with all of my questions and concerns. Teddy was easily accessible at all times. He and his crew worked very hard and were polite along the whole way. Tony did a great job at supervising and ensuring everything was moving along efficiently. At the end, Teddy noticed a small aesthetic issue that was not to his standards and didn’t hesitate to redo a portion of the outside work to make it look perfect. His high standards meant the most to me. I definitely plan to use him again in the future (probably when my boiler konks out...).

Cold king installed my new compressor and heating system 3 years ago and it works like a charm.
I recently had a hot water heater issue in my home and called Staten island plumbing. That was the biggest mistake in my life. They not only left my hot water heater in pieces they never returned to the job and broke additional part on my perfectly good hot water heater. I called Teddy and Andrew was there in 24 hours and installed a new water heater. After the damage created by Staten island plumbing it was nor worth spending money to fix it. Andrew the technician is a true craftsman and does outstanding work I will never use another company. Teddy Andrew thank you for your professionalism and efficiency.

I called Teddy on Sunday because my Forced Air Heater was not working properly and with a Nor-Easter coming we needed some heat. Teddy came by on Sunday and checked it out. He gave us some expert advice and went over our options in a way that was easy to understand. We went with replacing the whole Heating and Air unit, especially after we were given a very reasonable price and a 2 year warranty. Teddy and his crew showed up the next day and installed the unit. The guys were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Teddy and his crew at Cold King for all of your Heating and Cooling needs.

I had Cold King install our brand Central A/C and Heating unit today. First of all the service was excellent his mechanics Jay and Gabe were very professional and polite. Did a excellent job explained everything to us. And the owner Teddy was the best didn't ask for any payment to everything was running perfect then sat with us and explained all the warranty instructions and when to replace filters and went to every room and reset every vent very pleased with the install. Houston (of "Cold King") did a fantastic job of installing our water heater. He is truly a craftsman and certainly knows his trade. We are 100% satisfied with the outcome. Do not hesitate to use "Cold King". Highly recommended.

Excellent service by great guys who actually knew what they were doing. I had to change both AC and furnace units and replace them with new ones. Teddy thoroughly explained what was most beneficial to our needs and we had a very smooth experience from beginning to end. Teddy, Chris, Andrew, and Tony were all very helpful and courteous in everything they did. We had decided to replace the whole hoav system in April. We went online to search all hoav business reviews. I found Cold King had very good reviews. So I ended up called it. When I called Cold King to make an appointment for evaluation. Teddy, the owner picked up the phone and asked me if I would like him to come over in an hour. I was impressed for his super fast service. He came and gave us a very reasonable quote. He didn't push us for high end model. And I think he is honest. We didn't​ look further and we picked him for the job. The job was done in 1.5 day and it was done nicely except one minor problem. We didn't find it out until later when I turned on the ac. But when I called Teddy, he sent someone in the next day to fix the problem. Yes, I would recommend it to everyone.

We had a new furnace and a new hot water heater installed over the summer. Cold King not only did a great job, they also were also fast. Even though the old system needed to be removed and the new one put in, which is a big undertaking, our central air was back up and running for us the same day. Cold King's prices were very fair and they even saved me a few bucks -- I thought I would need a water tank that was bigger (and of course more expensive.) Teddy assured me that I was overshooting the tank size, and recommended a smaller one. I went with his recommendation and he was right - I have yet to run out of hot water with the smaller yet more efficient tank. All in all, I have no complaints and am very happy with their service.

Teddy the owner came to my house for an estimate and was drunk!!! He was very rude and impatient. Asked him him a copy of his insurance and license. That which he couldn't provide. Go somewhere else for service.
