What a dump of a company. Their driver recklessly backed into our car. Driver didn't even have the appropriate paperwork and had to wait over 2 hours for someone to arrive...... without the paperwork. Then the Operations Manager, Andrew Ricci, wanted to settle out of court, which wasn't the way we wanted to handle this accident. Now we're getting the run around from both them and their insurance. So I would question their reliability being this is how they handle their own workers negligence.

I was informed by Con Edison that a gas leak was detected inside my residence coming from one of my gas pipes which I was responsible for. I was required to hire a licensed plumber to correct the issue and decided to hire Bruni and Campisi since they serviced my area. After all the formalities were met with the city the work was allowed to begin. My dilemma was not with the plumbers who did a fantastic job it was with the manager who attempted to pressure me into having a new gas heating unit installed. He insisted that it was too dangerous for it to be ignited because of it being too old. Keep in mind the city inspector checked everything in order for the gas line to resume function and declared everything was safe. The estimate which the manager gave was for over 14k which I felt was utterly outrageous. It is obvious to me that the manager has some sort of hidden agenda. I suppose he receives a commission or expects a raise and promotion for giving the company more business. Due to the manager's inexcusable actions, I would not hire Bruni and Campisi ever again!

I had a leak in my ceiling. Called a plumber, he said you need a HVAC company. I called one that the plumber suggested. Even when i explained i could not use the heat because water leaked into living room the best they could do was over two weeks. I spent a very cold night and got up Saturday and called Bruni and Campisi. The person who answered the phone was great. Shafean advised it was urgent and would get someone out today. A few hours later i got a text and call advising technician was about 30 mins away. Sam was great. He found the problem unfortunately it is not repairable so next step is to talk about replacement cost. So i maybe writing another review. I am thankful they came out quickly and determined the issue. I would recommend using this company!!

When the appointment was made I was told I was going to get charge $89.95 for the initial visit. That initial visit turned out to be 5 minutes long and the price tag was $216.87. I was even charged for gas even though that’s just a company expense that gets recorded as a loss for tax purposes. My wife was the one available at the home that day and I truly feel that they took advantage of that. Then she had to put a deposit to order the materials, without consulting me, she made a $200 deposit that was not refundable. At this point we just had to continue the process because we were already $416.87 down. I called the manager and I explained that I felt that I was overcharged for the initial visit and the manager promised to reimburse $126.92 from the initial visit. They told me that it was going to take 5-7 business days and I was okay with that. The plumber then came back to install the faucet and fix my leak problem. The faucet got installed properly but guess what? You guessed it! I still have a leak. That day the plumber charged another $276.97. 2 weeks later, I’m still waiting for my refund. At this point all I want is my refund and I will take care of the leak myself. Maybe this review will get them to do what they promise since the many conversations over the phone are obviously not working.

We had two awesome installers Cornell & Artie come to replace a new A/C in our house. They were both efficient and courteous not to mention they spent the time to explain to us the best way to care for our new central A/C unit … they worked for hours to take out the old unit , install a new unit and redo wiring in our very hot attic and still remained pleasant , courteous and patient! I don’t usually leave too many reviews but these guys deserve the recognition !!

I contacted Bruni & Campisi for an energy assessment knowing that I would then have foam insulation installed, as well as whatever else was suggested after the assessment. After a month of receiving no information, I began contacting the office as well as the tech who came to my house. It's now almost 3 months later and I have yet to hear back from the company. If there is a reason they do not want to do the work, I would like to know that rather than being ghosted. My experience has been that Bruni and Campisi is extremely unprofessional.
