We bought our home a little over a year ago and have worked with a variety of contractors on a variety of projects: from roof, to plumbing, to landscaping, to painting, etc. Ryan Heating Cooling has been hands down one of the most professional operation we have worked with. They conducted an assessment of our home's energy use and helped us determine the best option to make our home more energy efficient. They replaced our old boiler with a more energy efficient Navien tankless water heater. At every step of the way Ryan's team was extremely responsive, provided excellent service, and brought a high level of professionalism and workmanship every visit. We recently reached out to them again to help troubleshoot the Navien system and again, Ryan's team responded immediately and helped us fix the issue right away. We can't recommend this company enough - especially for any homeowner looking make their home more energy efficient!

Was recommended this Entity by Willdan Clean Energy who was getting a grant from the NJ State . They installed 2 lower grade air conditioners . Extremely poor service . Rude . Paid for service contract . Could not even abide by the same . Sent untrained repairmen to fix the NEW air conditioners. Charged me additional fees under the pretext that there was always a new problem!!! When asked to help correct the wrong and erroneous repair performed by his repairman , stated they don’t service our area anymore !!
Charged me for a service contract for a hot water gas heater when I don’t have one except an electric Rheem When asked , they stated , it does not matter
Now the 3 limit switches are not working
The filters they replaced are also worn out

We used Ryan for the installation of a whole house generator. The majority of the work was done in the garage, the laying of the pipes etc.. Everyone from the office staff to Patrick to the work crew were there to answer any question and resolve any issues we had during the installation process. The generator has been put to the test in these last storms. It came on without a hitch, funny to be one of the few houses with our lights on during a blackout.

We are long term clients of Ryan, and when our heating died today, a terribly cold day, Ryan sent Allen to our home. Allen was very professional and set about diagnosing the problems and fixing them very quickly. He had all the necessary parts and tools in his vehicle and we had a warm house again in no time. Thank you Allen!!!

I rarely write product or company reviews. But in this case I felt I could and should provide one. We had Ryan install a Geothermal system in our home. There is no other word than excellent here. The professionalism is simply top notch. Here are a few specifics that we experienced and that you would be likely to expect:
1) Everything was explained up front. Nothing was done that wasn't anticipated before the work started (this is so rare these days). Government rebates, payment plans, costs were all explained thoroughly and in writing.
2) The detailed energy efficiency assessment provided lists all of the additional work that could be done to improve the energy efficiency of the home. All of it is detailed as to whether or not it is included or simply suggestions that could be implemented at a later date.
3) The schedule was followed with no surprises.
4) The equipment layout was clean and efficient. I'd even go as far as to say meticulous. There were no loose end and the least obtrusive and efficient path from our well location to furnace location was installed.
5) The clean up was great, as promised inside and outside the home. The grass did take its hits. That was known up front. Well drilling equipment is a given with the installation of a geothermal system. However, everything was leveled before they left and we simply reseeded.
6) Finally, the system works as promised. We've had no problems with its functioning and our monthly use of propane has been reduced to just running the stove.
I can only highly recommend Ryan for their work and follow through.

Ryan Inc. has been instrumental in the conversion of our heating supply from oil to gas in November 2012. The project went smoothly from start to finish. The work stages of the gas conversion were well structured and the completion of each stage was done in a precise and timely manner. In addition, we did not even have to contact the gas company or the local/state offices involved in this project. Ryan Inc. took care of it.

The staff of Ryan Inc. was efficient and knowledgeable in every aspect of the job. The crew was courteous and took the time to answer any question that we had.

Allen from Ryan Inc. was able to come through with the AC repair and save the day. He arrived as scheduled, was able to diagnose the problem, replace the faulty part, and perform some routine maintenance. Service was very professional and I am now ready to stay cool during the brutal NYC summer.

Ryan did a great job installing my new Navien gas heating system. They were punctual, professional and highly skilled. I recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I had been looking into putting in a Geothermal system at my house but was also a little apprehensive about a system that still appears to be unique in NJ to most people. Patrick and his team quickly made me feel at ease with that I was planning and I could not be happier in deciding to use them to put my system in. They walked me through the whole process from start to finish I could not be any happier as I moved into my new house just in time for Winter. Clear, transparent and with great customer service, I would recommend them for any project be it big or small.

Ryan Heating did an excellent job in replacing the heating system at our church. They ran into numerous challenges which they resolved in a professional manner. They kept us informed every step of the way, cleaned up at the end of each day, minimized disruption of our daily routines & activities, made improvements that became visible as the work progressed, and kept the project on budget.
