Care Temp Heating & Air Conditioning LLC

I have had a yearly contract with this company for the past few years since I moved to this home. I have sent a few friends to use this company and always said how good the company was. However, I forgot to make an appointment this year, 2022, and this past weekend was in the 90's. My fault.. I used a fan and got through it. I called to get an appointment to do the yearly maintenance, I am a senior and on oxygen and can not do that again. I was given an appointment in 4 weeks!!!! Aren't customers priority? They should actually be calling us to remind us to make an appointment, other companies do call. Now I have to find another company.

My mom hired this company to replace her AC. These people failed to file the permit unbeknownst to my mom and they failed to finish the job. They didn't connect the vent to the air handler so the air isn't blowing properly and it sounds like your taking off in an airplane everytime it turns on. My mom called numerous times and scheduled an appt which they then cancelled and said they couldn't come out for 3 weeks. My mom gave them a hard time so they came out the next day only after she had complained. This is so sad and seems like a case of taking advantage of the vulnerable elderly.

Freddy and the team at Care Temp are the best in the business! Amazing service and even better customer care. I had an issue with my A/C Memorial Day weekend. and Freddy showed up the same day to find a Freon leak in my condenser. He was able to not only get my A/C back up and running, but he got us through the summer. He was so amazing we had him come back in the Spring to replace the entire system. I recommend this company to everyone that has heating and air conditioning issues. Keep up the good work!

These young men installed new ac system in my home in 100 degree weather. Attic had to be way above that! They worked for 12 hrs until the job was done they were polite, and so neat. Just amazing!!! 5 stars & more

The AC unit at our shore house finally kicked the bucket after 15 years, so it was time to replace it. I found Care Temp through a search online and decided to give them a shot. The technician who came out for a free estimate was very courteous and professional, and I didn't feel pressured into buying some top of the line unit. The installation went very smoothly as well. Overall, great experience, would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

Still waiting for estimate that I requested by email. Called three times. First time I was supposed to get the estimate right away (I had described my issue in detail over the phone including FULL description of product to be replaced), I called in the a.m. and when I didn't have it after 4pm I called again, I was told oh, we need your home address and telephone number to send you the estimate by email- EACH OF THE THREE PHONE CALLS I PROVIDED AND CHECKED THEY HAD MY CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS. I gave my telephone and address (they could have asked me this on the first call or emailed me to request it) but they didn't. I gave the info they needed and still no estimate. I called the next day and the same woman said - one minute let me talk to the office manager - came back and said I would get it right away, the office manager was sending it now! Still no email- project I requested the estimate for completed last week already - by another company who sent an estimate same day i requested it - scheduled appointment same day - came on time and completed the job -CARE TEMP has still not sent an estimate , called or emailed. Im a senior in need of an important home repair and they can't even email an estimate or have the curtesy to call or email me that they are obviously not interested in the $1600 - $2400 job that takes less than 2 hours to complete. NOT A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY!

I'm writing for mother in law. Shes italian, 84 years old and speaks broken English. I was over her house and noticed a hose bib on one of her heat zones dripping. I tried to tighten it, but it still dripped. It's a spigot used to drain the zone of water. She has a service contract with care temp so she decided she would call. The boiler is functioning fine, no issues other than a $9 hose bib. Well Care Temp came out the next day, $197 just to show up and look. Next thing I know, I get a call from mom that they want to change out a $300 valve. I tell her no, the zone valves are functioning perfectly. Care Temp argues with her. So I call. I speak to a woman, express my concerns about them taking advantage of an 84 year old italian woman. I explained clearly what the problem was and how much the part costs. She said, "do it yourself if you can" so off to get parts, and less than 20 minutes, less than 10 bucks I make the repair. I have worked in construction for many years, so I know my way around heating systems. I'd never trust a company who does this to our seniors. I consider this fraud, dishonest, extortion, and deceitful behavior.

I called Care Temp because my heat wouldn't work anymore. The office staff put a call out to the techs, and they arrived within the hour. They were clean and professional, and had my heat working in an hour. I'll be recommending Care Temp to all of my friends and family members in the future.

NEVER USE CARE TEMP
Came home from work to no heat. Called Care Temp and they dispatched a tech within 2 hours, great. He found the problem but did not have the part. The office would have to call the following day with price and availability. $135 for service call and $65 for diagnostic. With tax $213 and not fixed. They called in the morning and said they can come out and it was going to be $350. I looked up the part and it was $20. I asked the receptionist if I can speak to a manager or tech to get an explanation why would it cost $350 to replace a $20 FUSE. She refused to transfer me to anyone else. They wanted over $570 to replace a $20 FUSE.

I just moved here 4 months ago Care Temp installed ac unit 2 years ago.
They were here 4 times..twice never showed up for appointment..System
Froze because of freon leak..Charged me 600 for a leak test..turned out there was a leak at the filter drier joint that they installed..would not take responsibility
They said it would cost 500 to repair for
A 20 dollar part..
The manager Fred would never come to the phone to explain the charges..
Extremely poor service..One of their many bad reviews a customer had a similar
Situation and went with a other company
I did the same..after spending 1100 dollars..Care temp is a horrible company
That preys on senior citizens..
The new company checked the system
And verified it was a very shoddy..poor
Installation..they should of fixed it under
Warranty..the part was never welded properly..and leaked from day 1..they fixed it ..running fine...I dont know how Care Temp stays in business..especially
How their so called manager Fred sleeps
At night..Ripping off the people..
Obviously they dont give a damn..
I live in a large 55 over community..
Where word of mouth is everything..
Care Temp will not get any recommendation here...
