Called today, the Sunday before Labor Day. A woman called me right back. She very clearly stated the emergency rates upfront and said they'd be out within 1-2 hours. Tech Ron came out in exactly one hour and worked very fast to troubleshoot the issue and then swiftly solved it. Very impressed and thankful for his hustle and consideration of the emergency rates. We are now back up and running and can enjoy our Labor Day weekend! Thank you TR Heating and AC and Ron!

I have recently had to deal with Toms River Heating and AC and I have to say that their customer service was horrible. I was without AC for a week on my top floor and my two infant daughters could not have slept in their room because it was so hot! My wife and I reached out to the company and they sent someone on 7/29 to fix the issue. The issue did get fixed that day but was only temporary, shortly after the tech left the AC stopped working again.
The issue he fixed and I quote what's on the receipt is "Found neutral wire melted in wire nut Replace wire Test operations ok". I reached out to the company as well as the tech to come back out but they refused to send him back stating that he told them that it was a deeper rooted issue with the electrical system in my house. I'm not an electrician but the house I'm living in is only 8 years old, if there was an electrical problem, I'm sure something else would have been an indicator. Regardless, I had another HVAC tech come out the next day to look at the unit and needless to say, the issue got fixed. The problem and I quote what was on the receipt said "Customer had someone out and changed transformer in heater in attic but left wires that were not being used without wire nuts on them and they touched metal in cabinet and blew new transformer".
So, the issue was an electrical issue but not in the house, rather on the AC unit itself. The second tech told me that the first guy should have fixed the issue and not leave the wires exposed since it was his job to fix the problem in the first place. I've been with AC for 6 days now and no electrical issues whatsoever.
I reached back out to Toms River Heating and AC for a refund but they refused. They told me that they were sticking with what their tech said and that the issue was electrical and needed an electrician. Furthermore, the tech claimed that the wires did not need wire nuts.
I have a family to take care of and I can't afford to let this slide, the amount of money spent on getting this fix definitely warrants a refund. I've gone ahead and reported this company to the BBB so be warned!

My land lord hired them and they were very rude. Difficult to work with and they showed up 3 hours late!!! We complained to the owner but she did not do anything about it!
