We had an emergency issue - the folks in scheduling made it quick and easy to get appointments set up. Joe - the technician came out and went above and beyond to fix the issue..and in a friendly manner, as well. Highly recommend this company.

Had new furnace/AC installed a few months ago. They needed to come back as the system wasn't pressure tested and (of course) had a leak. There were also things promised during the "sales pitch" that weren't followed through on (i.e., adjusting the ducts, etc.). My bad, as I should have ensured these things were in the contract, but thought I could trust the salesperson/company. I Tried to have them come back on numerous occasions and haven't had any success. The person who came back to fix the leak told me he would speak with the owner to have him call me back. No dice. Spoke with the "secretary" a few times and she said someone would call me back. No dice...

Make sure everything single thing the sales person tells you is in the contract... EVERY SINGLE THING... I had high hopes for this company and though I may use them to service my system over the next year (if needed) I would be hard pressed at this point to recommend.

We had our furnace go down on New Years weekend and one of the coldest days of the year. Service Manager Daniel was extremely understanding and accommodating, set up a fast response and staid in touch. Service Technician Justin Acosta came out and did everything he could to fix a problem that was difficult to diagnose. Justin staid with it until the furnace ran and staid running. Justin was knowledgeable and highly professional, we could not ask for more. Great people and great company!

Lucsonne arrived promptly to service our air conditioning system for the summer. He got right to work cleaning and checking indoor equipment, working steadily, never on the phone. When he serviced the units outside, he cleaned them thoroughly, hosing them down and leaving them looking like new. (To do that, he did not use our garden hose—which was handy—instead using one from his Bloomfield Cooling and Heating truck.)
We do not usually write reviews, but today's service was exceptional.

I recently used Bloomfield Cooling & Heating to service both my central air conditioning unit and my steam boiler. On both occasions, they were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Their prices are also reasonable. I also appreciated their follow-up to see how everything went and to ask how they could improve their service. That's just about as good as you can get!

Today Fitzroy came to my home (early - but waited until the time window opened - I was told from 7.30AM to 8.30AM) at 7.30AM and was such a kind, considerate and efficient tech I had to call the receptionist and let her know how impressed I was. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! I highly recommend the company and their employees!

Bloomfield installed a ductless heating and cooling system on the second floor of my Cape Cod style home. Their estimate was very competitive and their workers went above and beyond to complete the project in one day (initially estimated two days). Great overall experience. Professional from start to finish. Thanks Bloomfield!

Update: Had Bloomfield come back after town inspection found a minor issue that had to be corrected. Bloomfield was back at my house within two hours of calling and remediated the issue. Amazing turnaround time. Thanks again!

William came today to service our air conditioning unit. He also fixed a couple of problems with it. Our unit is extremely old and in the past someone else had maintained it incorrectly, but William got everything back up to snuff. He was extremely courteous, and my kids didn't want him to leave! We highly recommend Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric, and we will definitely be calling them again.

These guys deserve a mention for being untrustworthy. They installed a brand new system in the property less than a year ago with the previous owner. When we bought the house, the previous owners specifically said to ask these guys to come out to balance the equipment because it was under warranty. My husband phoned them and they said they would come out (and all we had to pay for was the filters). We said fine. The day of service, NO ONE SHOWED UP! The sales rep, Dan, was extremely rude and accused my husband of pretending to be the previous owner.
1. My husband did not do that. He merely called and provided the address. Dan did not check and verify who he was talking to.
2. He claimed he couldn’t reach us to confirm the appointment because he called the previous owners who said they didn’t have our number. In fact the office had call records because a lady Diane resolved the issue.
3. Later in the day, Dan called and was extremely rude and kept insisting because we are not who we said we were, as such we now had to pay for the rebalancing of the equipment.

Ok so here’s it. If we originally had to pay for it, why was an appointment scheduled and why was advise provided that we only have to pay for the filters (that we have no problems with).

Isn’t the warranty tagged to the equipment? Not who owns it? Why did it make a difference?

Lastly, my advise to Bloomfield’s Dan - be nice. Learn from Diane. A little more customer service goes a long way. We were prepared to go with you guys regardless whether it was free or not, until you made that phone call that was an extreme turn off. Accusing a customer of posing as someone else (when you yourself did not hear the introductory “hi, my name is x”) in order to get out of your liabilities is just downright dishonest.
