Upon calling Bloomfield Cooling, Heating and Electric ( Little Falls NJ ) as a new customer I was assisted by their very caring and awesome customer services team. I found them to be very helpful in understanding the huge health impact of not having a Central AC system working for a 2nd floor apartment. ( indoor temperature ranged 85 - 90F for only a few days of unseasonably hot weather ).

The customer services team coordinated technicians asap to make service calls for diagnostics and repair services.
They provided follow up calls to confirm appointments all of which were kept on time as scheduled.

When I met the first service technician he determined with diagnostic accuracy that I only required a new compressor ( which was under mfg warranty ) and new circuit breaker. An order was replaced with the mfg to get the new compressor part. The part order was fulfilled quickly to my delight.

The 2 technicians that visited today - Christopher and Mauricio are excellent service technicians that went above and beyond the call of duty. They worked diligently in the driving rainy weather to repair my Central AC system with exceptional skills and knowledge to ensure the Central AC system was not only repaired properly but fine tuned and cleaned too.

I would like to provide my deep appreciation to all the team members for an excellent job and highly recommend them.

We used this company for an AC install and everything was fantastic. The guys did a great job, made sure to keep the areas they worked in clean, and did so in a timely manner.

I hired Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric Inc. to replace an entire old central AC system in our house in West Caldwell. This included replacing all the feeds in the attic, the air handler in the attic and the condenser outside. Tom Swartz, the salesperson, was very helpful in finding the right system for us and also followed up during the 2-day installation to make sure everything was going well. The technicians who worked on the replacement, Nestor, Tony, Aaron and Jake did an excellent with the installation making sure they cleaned up after and during the installation. I must say that they were very professional and did an excellent job. Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric Inc even sent an electrician to fix a recessed light in our hallway several days after the installation that was jarred out of place during the installation. I would definitely recommend Bloomfield Cooling, Heating & Electric Inc for a central AC installation. We were extremely happy with their work.

Fantastic experience start to finish. Seamless install of central AC in a 115 year old house. On time, polite, efficient - and cleaned up everything at the end of each day. My attic looks better than before they started! System works perfectly and the house is blessedly cool even though temps are in the 90s this week. AND the job cost significantly less than the price I was quoted by Airgroup and included more options. Many thanks to Mike, Anthony and the rest of the crew for a great job - if I need anything else, I know who I'm calling!

I have to say that Richard, the technician, was really great. He arrived after hours, 7pm, during a storm just as our power went out as he was going to fix our AC which was on the fritz on a 90 degree day. He left since there was no power which came back on two minutes after he drove away. Not only did he return and fix the problem by replacing the capacitor but he was thorough, polite, very knowledgeable. These folks installed our unit 12 years ago and have maintained it since. Highly recommend.

We just had 2 Carrier ductless split air conditioners installed by Bloomfield Cooling, Heating and Electric in Little Falls.My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism of this company from start to finish. Our salesman, Tom Swarts, was very knowledgeable, accommodating and pleasant to work with. He even stopped by a few times to make sure the installation went smoothly, which it most certainly did! Electricians Andrew, Anthony and the rest of the crew knew exactly what needed to be done, and expertly began their work as soon as they arrived at 8 AM. Their work ethic, knowledge and evident expertise made my husband and I feel very confident that this installation would be perfect, and that it was! And they even clean up after their work was completed. The ductless air conditioners are beautiful, and we’re so happy we made the decision to do this. I've continued to have very good experiences with Bloomfield Cooling and Heating over the more than 18 years I've been using them. Today, I had a new technician performing the winter service, Richard. He was professional, kind, personable and respectful. He addressed the issue I was having and offered a clear and helpful explanation, always asking if I had more questions. Bloomfield has installed our generator, AC and furnace. We give them an A in each case and are thankful that we chose Bloomfield. Recently, Richard did a small repair on our Generac. He was perfect. Not a surprise because Bloomfield would hire only the best. This includes their office staff that I speak to, Laurie and Debbie. We highly recommend Bloomfield Cooling Heating and Electric.

Being a Customer Service Representative myself for many years i really appreciated Diane for working with me to get the technician to my house earlier so that i would be able to drive my daughter to work.
Aaron was kind, considerate and meticulous. I appreciate a technician who pays attention to the particulars and does not leave any stone unturned when it comes to his work. I know that with the maintenance done on my boiler i could rest assured that all is well with my equipment. I asked some questions and I got great answers. All in all, I appreciate the attentiveness that these two individuals gave to me in my time of need.

I have been using Bloomfield Cooling for over 10 years. They installed my generator after Hurricane Sandy and continue to do maintenance twice a year. It is always great to Rich every 6 months when he comes to change oil and test it. It works great even when power goes out for a short time or days! Highly recommend for all services provided.
