Bloomfield Heating and Cooling replaced our AC unit and furnace in July, 2017. They were very professional, prompt, and helpful throughout the planning and installation process. Our AC broke during a heat wave over July 4th weekend. When Michael, the owner, came for the estimate, he was thorough in measuring the house in order to recommend the most efficient unit. He was friendly, professional, and reassured me that the job could be completed quickly. His crew installed the units in a 1 day period. They were respectful of our home and made every effort to keep it clean; all garbage and old parts were taken away. Afterwards, they patiently and thoroughly explained the system and parts to us. Very pleased with the service at Bloomfield Cooling, Heating and Electric. They recently replaced an old HVAC for us, plus installed a new unit + ducts and vents on our first floor. They completed the work in a week, as promised, were clean and thoughtful with where to place the new vents, and incredibly professional while on-site (never late, always working, etc.) They also took the time to walk us through the install after they were done and offer pointers for care, etc. I’d definitely recommend them to others.

These guys always come through for me when I need them! Anytime I have a heating or AC emergency they are able to come right away and take care of the problem. I recently had a problem with my boiler and gave them a call. My tech, Joe Colombo, took care of the issue properly and gave me some great advice as far as maintaining the unit. I highly recommend!

Highly recommended! The Bloomfield Cooling team installed a complete new AC system during our home renovation and provided efficient, professional, and friendly oversight of the project through the entire process.

They gave us excellent value for our budget, worked with us to schedule installation amidst a crazy amount of surrounding construction, listened to our concerns and needs, and once work commenced were always prompt to arrive and perform quality craftsmanship, and left the site clean and organized when complete.

Travis's team including Andre, Ricky, Boz, Murad, Helder and John did a wonderful job and we're thrilled with the results! These folks are the real deal.

I have been using Bloomfield Cooling and Heating since I moved to my house and have been very happy throughout. Taka has been excellent during my regular maintenances. Furthermore, when I had an issue with my boiler on a Sunday, I called the answering service and got a video call from Justin within a few minutes. He was able to diagnose the issue and my boiler was back on 5 minutes later!

These guys deserve a mention for being untrustworthy. They installed a brand new system in the property less than a year ago with the previous owner. When we bought the house, the previous owners specifically said to ask these guys to come out to balance the equipment because it was under warranty. We phoned them and they said they would come out (and all we had to pay for was the filters). We said fine. The day of service, NO ONE SHOWED UP! The sales rep, Dan, was extremely rude and accused us of pretending to be the previous owner.
1. We did not do that. We merely called and provided the address. Dan did not check and verify who he was talking to.
2. He claimed he couldn’t reach us to confirm the appointment because he called the previous owners who said they didn’t have our number. In fact the office had call records because a lady Diane resolved the issue.
3. Later in the day, Dan called and was extremely rude and kept insisting because we are not who we said we were, as such we now had to pay for the rebalancing of the equipment.

Ok so here’s it. If we originally had to pay for it, why was an appointment scheduled and why was advise provided that we only have to pay for the filters (that we have no problems with).

Isn’t the warranty tagged to the equipment? Not who owns it? Why did it make a difference?

Lastly, my advise to Bloomfield’s Dan - be nice. Learn from Diane. A little more customer service goes a long way. We were prepared to go with you guys regardless whether it was free or not, until you made that phone call that was an extreme turn off.

We had Bloomfield Cooling and Heating install a central ac unit including ductwork throughout our home in February 2019. They did a phenomenal job and I am very pleased with the quality of their work. They were prompt and arrived every morning on time. They were friendly and professional throughout the entire experience. They even went as far as to shovel the driveway of my elderly neighbor the day after a snow storm! I highly recommend them.

They *may* install at a competitive rate, but will then charge $450 for a 15min coil clean (soapy water technology). Also, they do not return phone calls.

EDIT: Their response is a complete lie! I never threatened to write a bad review. They never even called me back!

Hi, I called Bloomfield to diagnose a central air heating system. They charged $125 for the diagnostic and offered excellent response time plus nice and neat techs. Unfortunately, their part quotes were more than high. It was enough to make Donald Trump blush. They quoted $842 for an inducer plus another $255 for a pressure switch…. Yeah… no thanks… I was able to pick up both replacements for $280 total. I paid a local HVAC Plumbing school LICENSED graduate his per hour rate for the swap and the total was $525 (parts and labor included). Had I used Bloomfield to service the machine I would have been out $1347 plus tax. I don’t want to throw them under the bus, and I am sure under service contract for a larger apartment building having a team like Bloomfield onboard makes sense. Do your homework and whether or not they are a good fit depends on your situation. But a up to 6X markup on parts is absurd no matter how you slice it.

We had a new furnace and central air conditioner installed yesterday. The crew of Nick, Ruben and Colin were knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. They completed the job in one day, as promised and they were very careful in cleaning up the area after they were done. They also took time to clearly explain the systems features. Nice job!
