I wasn’t that impressed. The cleaning was done Satisfactory but not a super clean job. They kept us well informed with emails. They discovered a crack in my chimney so I asked for an estimate. Within one week I got the estimate 4,700.00 materials being 900.00 the rest was labor?

I found another chimney company to fix it for 2,400.00 and licensed. The bigger the company the more overhead. Profit yes, but this was way overboard. Shop around PLEASE!

Armstrong did arrive on time and performed a truly professional job in a challenging environment. The equipment was first class, the processes were very complete in touching every corner of the vents and the crew explained everything in detail. I would strongly recommend Armstrong for any service they offer.

Armstrong installed my fireplace inserts. Like everything else, availability and price were affected by 2 years of pandemic, but they were consistent with all of the other providers I researched. More importantly, the folks at Armstrong were responsive and credible. I would recommend them without hesitation.

The inspector and assistant were on time, kept a clean work area and professional. The questions I had were answered. A written report was issued the next day.

The items in the report were reviewed with me upon completion of the inspection. Therefore, nothing was a surprise.

I am glad I did the cleaning and inspection. I now know what issues need to be resolved. A day or two later I received a proposal for defect repairs.

Armstrong sales and administration were very professional, quick to respond, everything documented by email. Service workers called when on their way, very friendly and totally accommodated our need to have certain rooms done before others. They were respectful of our cats in the basement. They worked quickly and carefully and cleaned up most everything before leaving. I just did some minor wiping and vacuuming in a few places after they left. Everything was very straightforward, lots of good before and after pictures of the vents. I paid by check at the end exactly what was originally agreed to. Overall a very good experience and I am very pleased!
