Cecil was the best! Worked really hard to figure out our air conditioning problem. Saved us alot of money!! Would recommend Mohave and Cecil to anyone..
I live in the Greenbriar Townhouse community. We had a leak coming through the downstairs ceiling. "Star 5 plumbing" came out, a heavy accented Russian named "Mike". He did absolutely zero diagnostic and decided to cut the ceiling out to see the problem, and said it was an a/c problem because the a/c duct was quite wet (insulation). He left with $125 and a plastic wrapped hole in my ceiling, there was mold on the insulation. MOJAVE sent out Drew who was a breath of fresh air. He was uniformed, well groomed, well spoken and explained his testing/checks to me as well as answered all my questions thoroughly. Drew is a real professional and I highly recommend Mojave A/C to anyone who wants honest people in their homes. -Erick
Mojave Air Conditioning was able to come out on a short notice. Donnie was very professional and diagnosed the issue quickly. I would absolutely use them again.
Cecil is knowledgeable and extremely efficient in furnace maintenance and operation. He also is personable and it is a pleasure for me when he comes to service my house heating unit.
Where to start, nothing but professionalism from this company. We originally signed up at the home show last year and have been nothing but satisfied. This year unfortunately the a/c went out and with the cost of repairs it would have been cheaper to buy a new one. Instead of leaving us with no a/c for the hot weekend Donnie did what he could do to make the a/c last, even said that he would call just Incase the a/c needed a quick charge to hold us over. The a/c was supposed to be installed on a day that I was going to have to take off work, only to be given the great news that the a/c was in and someone was able to come down two days earlier and no vacation day having to be used. Thank you for being great, honest, and professional. We now have an a/c company that we trust.
Maybe because I was assigned a bad tech but I'll give 0 stars if possible.
I had an A/C problem and I had to go through my home warranty company, schedule a service call, the tech showed up early. He spent a few minutes checking the A/C unit, check for freon charge and was determined it was low. He diagnosed a leak in the evaporator which is located in the attic and I was also told that I needed a new AC unit that will cost me about $9700. The problem was he didn't actually go to the attic and check the evaporator for leaks.I knew this info from the 2nd AC company that I scheduled to do another diagnosis and to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd AC company is in the business for 45yrs (too bad they're not in the home warranty list to call for service)
The 2nd company did the actual leak test and found no problem. They used a freon probe that will detect if there's a leak within the unit or the copper line and found none. They also performed a bubble leak test of all the brass fittings and found none. The 2nd AC company also noted that in order for the Mojave tech to determine the leak was coming from the evaporator that evaporator cover needs to be removed and visually check the coils, use a probe to detect freon, and inspect for corrosion which in our case was never done. The tech only grabs a ladder, peaked his head and used a flashlight and BOOM the diagnosis was a leak from the evaporator.
All I needed was a freon charge. This company was charging $120/lb but the 2nd company only charged me $80/lb. Just beware!
*** In response to your comment, the leak search was never requested by your tech to the warranty company so I don't see how the warranty company could deny something that was never requested. Also, to confidently have a diagnosis of leak coming from the evaporator and a recommendation to replace the entire unit without doing any sort of leak testing is a complete fraud. Yes, the $9700 unit was the one I chose based on the recommendation by your tech. ***
Spencer explained what I needed to do to prolong the life of my unit. Quality work was performed. I would recommend Mohave AC to all my neighbors and Friends.

Cecil came and did an absolute great job. He went the extra mile and made sure the air conditioner was done completely and working before he left.
