Xtreme Heating and Cooling

Xtreme Heating and cooling was recommended to me by several friends who had used their service in the past, and now I will continue to recommend them. All of the staff (Kristin, Steve, Duane, and more) were great helping me navigate repairing and updating my heating and cooling systems. As a first time homeowner, I really appreciated the time they took to make sure that I understood all of my options and their advice. Service was scheduled quickly and conveniently, and the work was done well.

I have been wrestling with how to rate Xtreme... Nick came out and told us that our ac unit was broken and what it would cost to fix it, however our unit was old and he would recommend replacing it, as well as our furnace. We decided to replace both units. They were able to get someone out rather quickly. They people were nice on the phone and in person. When they finished and I gave them the check, Duane told me, "We didn't do something up to code, but its fine, we do it all the time. Just don't tell the code inspector and it'll pass no problem. Huge red flag! What else did they not do correctly?? And for him to tell me not to even tell the inspector so it can slide under the radar?? Super sketchy. I called the next day after talking about it with my husband that night. The receptionist answered, I told her what all happened, and she agreed, they do it all the time, it's no big deal. I asked her to please have someone come out and fix it. She said they would only do that if the city code enforcer said they had to. And the whole time they're asking me to give them 5 stars. I have a working ac and furnace, and they didn't cuss or smoke around my kids, so I liked the company. But not doing things up to code and refusing to fix it raises huge issues for me. I would not recommend them because who knows what else they get away with?

Duane and Steve were very professional and had all the answers to our questions. They did the job in great time. They offered to remove a fireplace gas line that we have wanted done for quite some time and they did this free of charge! 5 star job guys! I highly recommend this guys and this company!

Nick Miller from Xtreme heating and cooling came out to help us and I can’t speak highly enough about our interaction with him and this company! We had another well known heating and cooling company from Omaha come out the day before and said our entire HVAC system would need to be replaced, which would take at least 2 days before they could do it. Nick came out and had our AC running within an hour and said if it continues to be a problem and we had to go down the avenue of replacing it, our quote was 1/3 of the quote compared to the other company! Xtreme heating and cooling will be the first people we call for all of our HVAC needs going forward. Thanks Nick for taking time to teach us what was going on and helping us in our time of need with the hot weather.

I finished a room in my house and had Xtreme do the duct work. They had to tie into an existing 12" duct and run the duct to 3 drops in the room. They came out to do a walk through and review the project. They were on time and provided good communication and suggestions on how they would advise doing the work. Pricing was competitive and scheduling was flexible. They arrived on the scheduled install date and were finished when they said they would be. Worker were polite and install looked good. I'm happy with the company and their work. I would recommend them.

4/20/22 I need to add more stars!!! Mike came to do scheduled maintenance and he is absolutely fantastic!!!! Professional, timely, KU d and super tidy!!!! The folks at Extreme are always great. Invoice and bill paying super expedient and detailed. You do not wonder what you’re getting. Lots of companies are overwhelmed right now and not up to their usual standards. I really wanted to review from this latest maintenance call to note how on top of everything Extreme continues to be! 10 out of 5 stars for Mike and the folks at Extreme!

The A Team just left my house and we are so pleased with the entire process from bid to install! Duane, Nick, Mike and Aaron are all wonderful to work with! Great communication, amazing attention to detail and super quick to respond! They did an install on another house we have and that experience was fantastic, too! We had used them for years to maintain and service our previous systems so we got some extra years out of our old systems. Now we are two for two on amazing installs!

Everyone at Xtreme does an amazing job! They are professional and responsive from the beginning of the process to the end. Jesse quickly diagnosed the issue with the AC and Duane and Steve were professional and quick to install my new reasonably priced system. They were even nice enough to fix a minor issue with my fence latch just because they noticed it when they opened the gate. Great company with exceptional employees!

Had another company give me a free furnace inspection and they of course told me my older system needed replaced immediately and used cosmetic issues as a scare tactic for it being unsafe. I contacted a couple people who advised that company was not to be trusted and were largely just salesmen looking to make money. They recommended Xtreme who came out the same day and told me my older system was still functioning fine, observing that the tech from the other company hadn't done much of an inspection as they hadn't even removed a specific panel to look inside.

I was told my older system would need replaced eventually due to being close to the end of its lifespan, but it was still functioning fine and WAS NOT a safety concern like the other company tried to scare tactic me into thinking. They gave me pricing for a furnace and A/C replacement in case I was interested but did not pressure me at all. The prices were a lot less than the other company with better equipment. Eventually when I do replace I will be calling Xtreme to do so.

We had a slightly unique job for Xtreme but they were willing to tackle it. They installed two brand new AC units and our heater. They were professional and very kind. We worked with Duane, Tim, Blake and Steve who worked together from different sides of the house to ensure everything was working properly. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC work.

Tim and Nick are AWESOME!!!! I needed my AC replaced, so that's fun. When you have an unexpected expense like this, you want to have a company that you feel really cares and will take care of you from the time of your purchase and into the future. I got this feeling from Xtreme. I received a number of quotes for a new AC. Xtreme was comparable in price, but the reason I chose this company is because of the people. Aaron came out and gave me a quote. He was professional and courteous with my time. He did not try to oversell or add on additional services I didn't need. Nick and Tim did the install. They worked diligently and were very personable. They answered all of my questions and by the end of the install, I felt like I made two new friends. I trusted them in my house and you can tell they know what they are doing. It was also very evident they enjoy their job and Xtreme treats its employees well. This is very comforting. If you need a new AC or just maintenance, I would highly recommend Xtreme.
