Averill Heating & Air Conditioning

Tried to turn on AC for first time this year, but the outside compressor unit wouldn't come on. Called around 6pm. Serviceman (Jack Farley) arrived around 1:30 the next day. Diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was efficient, competent, and could not have been nicer or more pleasant.

As much as a service call is never something you look forward to, we could not have been happier with this one.

This is the first time I have used them and they just gained a customer for life. It's been a friendly, professional experience from beginning to end. Heck they did the work today and I have already referred them to two other people. Which is how I heard of them through a referral. When the workers showed up they literally laid out the red carpet so they didn't mark up my floors. Awesome service, awesome price and very professional.

Each time I've dealt with Averrill, I've had the pleasure of dealing with Jason for my AC maintenance and repairs. He's always prompt and professional and thoroughly explains what he is doing. I appreciate that being someone who knows nothing about HVAC. I would highly recommend this company.

New AC and Furnace installed yesterday. Brandon and Chris did a fantastic job, very professional and very friendly. Have used Averill for years. Will continue using them, no complaints.

The guys at Averill Heating and Cooling are FANTASTIC! In the past I have had trouble even getting ahold of a HVAC company, it seems like they never answer their phone. Not with Averill, the receptionist was very professional and they somehow always manage to fit me in. I personally talked to Mr. Averill about upgrading my HVAC system. During the conversation I never felt pressured or like I was taken for a ride. The price he came back with seemed very fair for a Trane system and with 0% interest for 48 months you can't beat it! When they came out to install my unit to it seemed like an army with 3 vans. The guys were down to earth and professional. I can't remember all of the guys names (Jack, Brandon, and Scott were a few) but whoever services your HVAC system you are in good hands. I like to research everything to the max. Averill has been around since 1973, you're not in business that long unless you know what you're doing. Once again I am very happy with the service I received and my new Trane system.

Mike and Brandon installed an air conditioner in our home this morning.

They were courteous and efficient. The installation was completed in the time they

said it would be.

Mike explained the new system and thermostat in terms that we could understand.

I had an A.C. Issue today. Jason Smith was the tech. who arrived in a very timely manner. He diagnosed my problem quickly, Had my replacement part on his truck, and had my unit running In a short time. Jason was courteous and left the work area clean. I have never written a recommendation online before, but I was so satisfied with this company that I felt compelled to do so. I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone needing professional, knowledgeable, thorough, careful, conscientious, well-trained heating & cooling services. They know their stuff, and they are reasonably priced. They come when they say they will, always behave in a highly professional way, are very knowledgeable, and take real pride in their work. The owner, Mark, and his highly trained assistant, Scott, carefully studied the air flow, the cold and hot areas in our drafty 60+ year-old house, inspected the attic, the ductwork, and every register, window and door. They then provided a proposal outlining various steps to consider and the order in which to consider them. There was never any hurry, fast-talking pitches, or pressure. We had them install a new furnace; remove redundant ductwork and a contraindicated air duct booster, and replace our old painted-over, poorly-functioning registers. These steps alone made a huge difference. But they did even more, because they wanted to be thorough. Although there was no extra money in it for Averill, Scott recommended that we have the old attic insulation removed and new insulation installed. Then Scott went out of his way to coordinate with the insulation company we hired in order to make sure they covered all the bases he thought should be covered. Throughout the job, Averill's workers were on time, courteous, thorough, and professional. They really went the extra mile, and they deserve all the business they can handle.

Jack, the AC tech was on time and very courteous. He was very efficient in diagnosing and solving our AC cooling situation. We are pleased that we called Averill HVAC. And would call them again!
