I have a 6 year old Amanda system I bought from this company. They have always been who I’ve called for any HVAC service since I bought my house 10+ years ago. I had an issue with the AC this past Thursday. They came out did diagnosis right away and replaced the capacitor, said it would fix the problem. Less than 48 hour later the AC was having the same symptoms that resulted in my first serviced. Now it’s Saturday 90 degrees out and I have no AC. They refused to come back out w/o a $200 weekend trip charge. No consideration for the lack of “repair” done 2 days ago. Stated because I turned refused a recommendation on $350 optional service it was my fault the AC wasn’t working. Completely horrible experience. They do not stand behind their work as they claim. Especially if it’s a weekend. Garbage customer service.
Update: Came out today and re diagnosed the unit. They are warranting the unit replacement.

We LOVE 72Degrees!! My parents use them too! We actually got our warranty papers on our heating & cooling system from A.B. May so we could have 72Degrees to any work. We were NOT happy with A.B. May. 72Degrees has great customer service & their techs are on time & professional! We just had Joe Hawley come out & check our furnace to make sure everything was good for winter. He was so nice & professional. He told me everything he did & was very efficient!! Won’t use anyone else!!

We first had Sharp-Long replace our furnace and air conditioning system in our Lee's Summit, MO house back 2010. We had a maintenance contract with them since then. We bought and moved to another house in Lone Jack, MO and continued our maintenance contract with S-L. At the last two service calls, the service tech noticed slightly elevated CO2 levels (not enough to be dangerous, yet) and that a fan motor was drawing too many amps (meaning it was going to fail). A member of their sales team came out and presented three different proposals. We opted for the middle one. Four days later an installation team came out and replaced the entire heating and air conditioning system in one day. The techs were very friendly and professional and went about their work very efficiently. They were very protective of our walls, floors and carpeting. We were very pleased with the work they did and the clean-up afterwards was better than expected. We will certainly continue having Sharp Long monitor and service our new system. Thanks guys!
