Kallen came promptly at the appointment time. He discovered that the motor connection to the venting was cracked and leaking causing the formation of rust. He immediately located the necessary part and was able to complete the job in an hour. The furnace was under warranty for parts and labor so there was no charge. I am very pleased with Kallen and 72degrees. Thanks.

On Friday, 2/18/22 I woke to cold air coming out of my heat vents. Immediately called Sharp Long as they had installed my furnace and a/c and the do my annual maintenance on both. Lloyd was the tech that came out that afternoon. Determined the heat exchanger was not working, did a carbon monoxide test, ppm’s were elevated so shut it all down. Fortunately, I have a radiant heater and an oil filled heater so was able to keep the house relatively comfy. Monday I was notified that a replacement had been found one state away and would be installed on 2/22/22. Installation only took a couple of hours. Great job with clean-up. Due to the location of the heat exchanger, the manufacturer’s choice is to replace the whole furnace and not the part.

Our furnace stopped working Monday morning. I called Sharp-Long at 11:00am. Ross came a little after 1:00pm to check it out. The broken part was quite expensive and since our furnace and A/C were already 12 years old, we decided it might be better to replace them. Steve was at our house about an hour or two after Ross left to give us our options and quotes. He was very nice, and friendly to our autistic son who is interested in how systems and houses work. Once we made our decision, JC was over in less than an hour to take measurements. Ross came back by before closing time to drop of some space heaters to keep us comfortable until Wednesday morning when Lloyd and his team came to install the new HVAC system. They were professional and worked quickly. Miranda was also very helpful on the phone and called to let me know when people were headed to my house. Now we are toasty and warm hours before the next snow storm. I’m never thrilled to drop thousands of dollars on a furnace, but you all made it as painless as possible. Thanks!
