    I arrived home from work yesterday afternoon and found my air handler had leaked into the basement. After a quick Google search for someone in my area, Ted’s popped up and I scanned the website. 24/7 availability plus the great reviews and no extra charge for after-hours or weekend. Decided to give it a whirl and hope for the best - I called, Ted answered and was at my house in 20 minutes! I was thinking I’d be lucky to have someone there by 9 pm. It was a simple fix and since he had it figured out immediately, he went ahead and did a general check of everything, hosed off the outside unit and gave me advice to keep it running well in the future. I’d definitely recommend Ted to anyone I know. He knows what he’s doing and does it for a fair price!

    My Ac stopped working today as the temperature rose to the mid 80's and of course it's a Saturday. Most people are either closed or charge double, not Ted. I called ted's expecting another voice mail or some automation but instead Ted answered my call HIMSELF And said he had several calls lined up but he would be by. Let me know when he was on his way, got here and started troubleshooting. Found the problem, and got it fixed quick and at a very fair price. Ted is a great professional but an even better human being! He believes in the golden rule and his actions back that up! Very glad I called him and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again Ted!

    Our A/C went out last Saturday and we have a home warranty with AB MAY, 1st they fought us in our warranty then they said we have to replace the coil and an outside unit or both the furnace and ac $13,000 that’s with almost $3k in discounts. I called Ted and what he was telling me I immediately found holes in ab mays story. Long story short he came out and I steak of spending 13k we spent $435 and our house is like an igloo now. Very professional and most importantly a Christian which is another reason we chose him! Thanks Ted you’ll be our first call from now on.

    Ted was very knowledgeable and prompt. I have a newer unit that was supposed to be under warranty from a different contractor from just over a year ago but they wouldn't honor their work.... Ted stepped up to the plate and fixed what they would not and it only cost me under $200.00. I'm an Industrial Electrician and I can vouche for this man and his work. Thanks Ted

    I got home from work and it was 60 degrees in my house. Repeated resets did not bring the gas heat back on. I am new to the area so I did a google search but chose to call Ted as he had a 5 star rating and was fairly local. He had a few calls before me but promised to call 15 minutes before arriving. Ted has a one man operation and is a down to earth, hands-on type of guy. He did a thorough check of the system explaining as he went. He got the heat on and wanted to do a final check on the the thermostat, where he found a loose wire that may have been the true problem all along. I am a recent transplant to Independence but Ted's Heating and Cooling is my got-to for HVAC from now on.

    My husband and I very much appreciate Ted coming to our house to fix our furnace and humidifier! Our house needed those things very badly. Furnace stopped working one night, my husband Nic, called him and he was here very early the next morning. The next day, got to our house at around 7 in the morning to fix it all! Our house is nice and toasty now! They did a very good job fixing everything for us! We very much so needed those things in this winter weather. I am VERY grateful that he & his company were able to do these things for us so quickly!

    Had a 10pm furnace breakdown on Saturday of Thanksgiving Day weekend. Weather was wet and close to freezing when I got a call that the heating unit in a rental was not operating. I began by just Googling "24hr heating and cooling Independence MO". Ted's came up at the top. I called Ted's first and left a VM. Called the second business with 24hr on the list and got a live dispatch service. I spoke to them about what I needed and was told a tech would return my call. Waited a few moments after these two calls and Ted was the first to call back. He had been pretty busy all day and I could tell he was tired, but he was amazingly patient. He explained his rates and I thought the rates were very fair for after hours. As I was headed to the apartment to confirm the tenants report Ted explained some things for me to initially look for before having him come out. Unless it is extreme circumstances I verify Information that is reported by tenants before dispatching professional services. About an hour later I got to the triplex building that had the the inop furnace. I checked the items that Ted had told me to look for and had questions. I called Ted back. Ted took my call and answered all my questions thoroughly. When I hung up I thought the furnace was operating because I had managed to get air going through it. The next morning (Sunday) I received a call that the furnace had quit and the apartment was getting chilly. I returned to the apartment and went through the checks again and found that the furnace air was only running for about 5 minutes and then shutting off. With some alternatives I asked the tenant to wait till Monday so that I could manage a better service rate call. I called Ted back to set up the service call and he explained to me that his service rate is the same 24hrs and that it included one hour of sevice as well. Again, this was all very fair. Even though he already had multiple calls for the day, I was had caught him between appointments and Ted was less than 2 miles away. He came right over and and didn't mind as I watched to try and learn anything I could to help my tenants in the future. I'm a technobfobe and don't consider myself mechanically handy and the AC/Heating units have been maintence free with the exception of filter changes, the last 11 years...so I was due for a call of this nature.

    Anyway in closing, Ted is a professional gem. First impression and my personal experience is that he has integrity, knows his business and knows HVAC. He cares more about treating people right and creating long term business relationships than an instant gotcha or sticking it to you because your system's timing is all wrong, which will always be Murphy's Law; as it was my situation.

    If you are reading this review at the very least you have questions about something going on with your HVAC and more than likely need help. It is my experience you will not regret choosing Ted for you service needs and he will become a regular part of your home or business sevice team.
