Alan Ricotta was a pleasure to speak with. His knowledge is great while always focusing on safety. I'm very happy with their promptness and efficiency. I would recommend RICOTTA HEATING AND AIR.

At our house in 15 minutes, repaired in another 15 minutes. Very polite and fair prices.

Well, we had no air conditioning on at the time. Called ricotta who installed it and he came out. Went downstairs to check it out, discovering it was only the switch was in the off position. He charged us $250.00 dollars!!!! What? For flipping a switch!!! They'll Never see our business again!!!Never and we will tell as many people as we can about this you better believe it!!

Have been a customer many years. Purchased furnace and recently air conditioning through Ricotta. Out of town I returned to find service needed to be done on A/C. I felt that some charges were questionable and called to express concern. Was met by a pleasant voice belonging to Nicki who listened and recorded concerns and indicated she would address them. A day later received call indicating that the owner had listened to her interpretation of the incident and agreed there should be a refund for some charges.

I was a committed customer before I called and after my experience with the customer service in this case I am a more than committed customer. I strongly recommend a business that does GOOD business.

I would give less of a rating if I could. He told me a cost of Freon over the phone and then charged my wife more. Wouldn’t check for a leak because it would take too long, didn’t check the filter and spilled oil all over the unit. Wolfmier heating and cooling came out the next day, extremely professional and cost effective. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Ricotta refunded me the difference of what he told me over the phone and what he charged my wife. He tried to refund the entire amount.

Have a service contract using ricotta for 20 years

I can't emphasize enough how much Ricotta came through for us. Our A/C went out at 8pm on a Friday night during a heat wave, and they were able to get to the house and try to fix it by 10pm. They basically rewired the entire unit (it was 40 years old, so to be expected). The compressor was shot so I just decided to replace the entire thing. Alan was able to call in people on the weekend and get a brand new installed the very next day, on a weekend! Our family truly appreciated the expidited service!

Ricotta technicians are friendly and knowledgeable! My AC was not cooling very well, and Ricotta found that my filters were clogged. They did not stick me with a huge bill, and I only paid for the service call and a new filter. I think most other heating and cooling companies in the area would have charged me more, or found other things to charge me for. I will be calling Ricotta the next time I need HVAC help because I know I can trust them.

Alan Ricotta is a great person and an excellent choice to do business with in the St. Louis area. I highly recommend him for all of your HVAC needs.

Alan came out after the a/c went out! He fixed the problem quickly and it was so affordable! I am not one to be able to tallerate the heat well, so it was awesome that they could get me in, in such short notice (same day)!
