Highly recommend Joel Smith Heating and AC team - of course our air conditioning and furnace motor/fan goes out the two weeks of the year when its 95 degrees and high humidity. Joel Smith Heating and AC to the rescue. They took such care in removing the old, putting in the new, testing the new, tarping my floor and covering their footwear, and making sure our air flow through the house was working like it should so all parts are cooling. What a great difference it made. I have recommended them to all my friends. You won't find a more family friendly team. Those 95 -100 degree days weren't a problem this summer - happy and cool customer.

We had a furnace problem in the dead of winter while I was out of town. Joel Smith Heating & Air Conditioning stepped in to help us get our heat back quickly, when our regular company was unable to assist us due to a medical emergency. They were prompt, courteous, and helped us out when we really needed it.

More recently, Joel Smith Heating & Air Conditioning found and installed a new heat pump system for us, which has been great. It's lowered our heating and cooling costs significantly, and the installation was prompt and professional.

Meeting the rep for the quote went well. Tried to establish confidence in the work to be performed - in this case adding a garage heater. But Kurt and another gentleman that arrived and did the work were awesome. They even reviewed my HVAC in the home since I mentioned I may want to separate the 3 floors to have individual controls. They were accommodating and friendly and sold me on the company. Clearly experienced and most helpful. That is why I would use and recommend them again.

We purchased a furnace and A/C last summer when our air went out. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to come in and get the job done. We weren't planning on this purchase and they were very helpful in figuring out options for financing and the rebates we would qualify for. I checked a few other prices and their price was great... we even chose a better quality furnace because the price was right. Very professional. I was having some user error problems and they came right out to walk me through it. We are saving on our utility bills too - not sure why we didn't do this sooner. Our house is staying warm throughout this winter - it used to be very uneven (some rooms cold, others hot). The air worked great all summer too. The best part is how quiet it runs.

I recently had my garage heated and working with Joel Smith Heating & Air Conditioning was a fantastic experience. They went out of their way to make sure that I had a working natural gas connection when my utility company messed up and deprived me of a connection. They were flexible with my schedule and were transparent about what the cost would be before the project started.

We had a significant amount of water in our utility area and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We decided to get a service done on our AC and furnace to rule those two items out. Not only did Curt do a fantastic job on the routine maintenance, but he also figured out our water issue (which had nothing to do with the AC/furnace). In addition, he gave me a second opinion on some hail damage our AC unit sustained, of which I was told by the insurance they wouldn’t cover. After a conversation with Curt, I called my insurance company for them to take a second look. With any luck, I will have J. Smith Heating and Cooling out soon to replace the entire unit. Thank you, Curt, for doing a great job with the service by letting me know exactly the status of our units; for taking the time to explain our entire system to me in terms that are understandable while explaining our future options; and that extra little bit that isn’t even in your job description by helping me solve our water leak problem!!
