Fast, reliable, courteous... Technician arrived inside the window, diagnosed my problem in 15 minutes (6 of that was my explanation of the problem and waiting for my thermostat to kick in). As per usual, the required part was not on the truck, however The tech ran back to the shop and was back in 10 minutes. I had AC 5 minutes later. Would recommend.

I was having troubles with my A/C that was installed about a year ago. Made a call to Bloomington Heat and Air and they sent out a repairman that same afternoon. Unfortunately it was a Friday and they didn't have the part on the truck. Some how Scott came up with the part and installed it the next day. Unfortunately that part wasn't the only problem with my unit so again Scott did his magic and got the part on a Sunday morning and came over and had my a/c running shortly after. Scott and his crew went way beyond what other companies would even consider doing to get my air fixed on the hottest weekend we've had this season

Absolutely beyond perfect. Solved our no-air-pressure issue in one visit and even threw in a humidifier pad replacement and solved a rattling noise in our inducer just while they were there. Barely even $100 later, we're thrilled. Even our dog loved them! Ten stars!

On Saturday of Labor Day weekend, my downstairs neighbor noticed a water stain on her ceiling. I was afraid that the problem might be caused by my A/C, and within a few hours, Scott came out to investigate. After confirming the A/C was OK, he spent some extra time helping me look for other potential leaks. Since I'm on the Comfort Savings Plan, the emergency service call was a very reasonable $89.

Had this company out to my home to install a wi-fi thermostat and repair/replace a malfunctioning Van E. He was knowledgeable and promised to send me an estimate. He never did. I contacted the company 3X to try to track this down and was promised he would get back to me. He never did. It has been 6 weeks in the Minnesota winter. This company cannot be trusted to follow through.

My first emergency was in February when my heat went out. Of course I figure this out outside of business hours of normal places but them being "24 hours" I called them. They said that they do not service boilers. So I took it upon myself to disassemble my boiler and luckily just switch out the thermocouple. Second, today, my air conditioning was making a rattling noise. I left a message and they responded back that they do not service any equipment if it's in an attic. So I took it upon myself to crawl up in the attic, check the blower motor and solve the problem of unsecure sheet metal on the unit. Looking on their website, I see many guarantees, awards, whathaveyou, however no obvious section that clarifies the specific equipment they service. Of course I could give them 1 star being hot and sweaty from being in the attic, but they called back relatively quickly, my only concern is that this apparent emergency-capable service isn't concerned with all heating and cooling equipment.

I am a maintenance manager for rental property and I am amazed at how hard it is to find competent, reasonable and helpful contractors...just to get a a fire extinguisher refilled took at least 6 phone calls which would have been more if I didn’t hang up on the guy insisting he couldn’t find time to do his job within my scheduled hours and had to called his boss to set him straight...
Anyway, I’d seen the reviews for this local company and gave them a call...I left a message realizing this time of year they were probably busy.
Later that day, I received a call back saying they had a tech just come in the office and could stop by within the hour. I asked if we could be billed and they said it was no problem and their service charge was a lot less then the other company I called charged who wouldn’t even come out unless I prepaid and it would probably take a week...
So Steve shows up within an hour, with a smile and can do attitude. He put on shoe covers and went straight to work, fixing my problem immediately and he simply couldn’t have been nicer...
I’m still kind of flabbergast at this experience since most of the contractors I work with are more work than help. I spend way too much time fixing their messes...and I’ve literally been told by them, “most people don’t care” about their shoddy work or “I should expect things to get broken when they work”...🤨
I was a little hesitant to even write this review because I want to keep this unicorn of a company a secret so they never change...but I do believe in giving credit where credit is due and if even 1/2 of the contractors did work with this kind of integrity and helpfulness, my job would be a joy!
