Fantastic father and son duo. Did a complete HVAC install in our home. Clean, kind, organized, meticulous and punctual. Came back after a couple days and fine tuned everything.

Glad to have a good family and locally owned option that does good. Will definitely continue using them.

Don’t normally post reviews but these guys were great. Took a nap and when I woke up my wife told me our forced air heater went out. I went and checked and determined that indeed there was a problem and a component was overheating and not working. So I got online and these guys were the first recommended on google and I can see why. I called them up told them I’ve got an issue and within 15 mins they were on my doorstep with tools in hand, they took a look and I showed them the issue and they agreed, quoted me, and got to work. They had parts in there truck and within a hour the heater was back up heating the house. It was really awesome the speed of them showing up and that they could fix it with their spare parts right away. It was really great. I don’t know if there is a huge price difference but I thought it seemed very reasonable and was pleased at the conclusion.

Climate-Tech Heating and Cooling is a first rate operation. They are very responsive, patient, flexible and reassuring. Every aspect of the service is fast, friendly and efficient (even the billing). Thank you, Jeff, for your dedication.

Climate Tech was just out today to do a routine maintenance check of my central air conditioning unit and furnace (figured I'd get them both taken care of on the same service call instead of paying for someone to come out to my house twice). Jeffrey, who is the owner, arrived on time and was gregarious and professional.

I had an HVAC guy out a couple of years ago, and the difference between the two is night and day. I now believe the other guy charged me $100 for a bogus "maintenance check" where he just cleared leaves out of my unit and threw padding and zip ties around the line from the unit into the house, aside from just eyeballing things. Jeffrey had many pieces of equipment that I hadn't seen before, including a meter that measured temperature and electrical current among other things. He opened the unit, cleaned it, checked everything with the meter, tightened screws and bolts.

Aside from cleaning some fuzz out of the unit, Jeffrey found that the electrical activator was old and the activation plate was pretty worn out. Basically this part of the outdoor unit is hit with electrical current when the thermostat calls for cold air. When that current hits, contact points snap down onto the plate and the current flows through and brings the air conditioner to life. Mine was quite old, and given the reason I decided to schedule this service call was the recent heat wave overpowering my unit, it had probably been pounded to heck the last couple of weeks alone.

After the cleaning of the fuzz and the activator replacement, Jeffrey actually found that my unit was running too cold likely because at some point someone had put in coolant without carefully measuring the amount or metering the temperature. I didn't know that was a problem for AC. He said he could remove some coolant, but that it'd be best to not perform such invasive surgery given my unit is from 1996/7. He could have tinkered with it and added a line item for my bill and I wouldn't have known any better.

The furnace was more straight-forward. He opened it up, checked the wires, cleaned everything (particularly the hot plate), left some screws out that weren't necessary I'd have an easier time cleaning it myself throughout the year, and closed an air intake that my duct work had for the previous owner's old furnace that he said didn't need to be open and was pulling dust into my system. Jeffrey also opened up my humidifier revealing a calcium tablet that was once a filter. He told me I could inexpensively purchase replacement filters and showed me how to replace the one he took out.

I feel a sense of closure and ease after hiring Climate-Tech, which is nice because homeowners have lots of other things to worry about all of the time, not to mention having a full time job, a family, and a dog.

Thanks for lightening my load, Jeffrey!

Hello, I am trying not to get upset while I write this. I set an appointment with this clown Jeffery the owner. Seems like a nice guy on the phone set an appointment told me he would be here between 8am-9am and that he would call before coming. I repeated this to him on the phone to make sure. Appointment time shows up and no Jeffery, but at 9:20 A.M. I get a call saying ill be coming in 20 min. I replied, I was told an earlier time and that he would have to be done evaluating by 10:30. He had an attitude with me on the phone saying I have AM time only.
He arrived 30 minutes later and I brought him inside my home. We are looking at the furnace, and I explain to him what I want to have done. He then asked me what kind of budget I have to work with? I first found this a strange question for someone trying to sell me his services. Then I try to speak and he interrupts me saying because you want all this work done and its going to cost 6-12 thousand dollars plus extra... goes on to tell me if I want a free estimate as you requested ( I simply asked over the phone) then this is going to waste my time if you cant afford it.
At this point Im so shocked at his behavior, I stop him to ask if I can answer one of his questions. I was about to tell him 12k was was my starting point, but he slaps me on the back and says no thanks. Starts to walk towards my door, as I say to him your going to leave without me even answering. He says well... you bust my balls about being late so this is not worth my time. I said I got up early to meet you and have to be somewhere after this, but at this point I dont want to work with you anyhow leave my house. He then starts to leave, still telling me what a waste I was. I then started to tell him we will be spending between 6 and 12 thousand but your not getting any of it. I also told him we are getting 20 thousand worth in concrete in 2 weeks. He just laughed.
I cant believe this guy has been in business for 35 years. I have never been so undermined and discriminated from a so called professional. Stay clear of Jeffery and Climate Tech.

Climate-Tech has been to our home several times for different issues. Each issue was quickly addressed and professionally repaired. Their prices are fair. I won't consider calling anyone else.
