Climate-Tech Heating and Cooling

I don't usually write reviews but Jeff & Climate-Tech blew away my expectations. I had my furnace go completely out on a 15°F night.

People in my neighborhood recommended Climate-Tech, so I reached out and he was able to come by the next morning (other quotes I got were telling me 3-4 weeks). Jeff was great — friendly, professional, transparent, and just pleasant to have around. He went above and beyond with my repair, sourcing replacement parts in a pinch.

As a new homeowner it's extremely comforting to know that I'll never need to search for a furnace repair company again. Thanks Jeff!

Fantastic service from father and sons! I have had Climate-Tech service my old and new house in Ypsi. Repaired the furnace at my old house. Replaced a very old unit at my new house. These guys were very patient and walked me through all of the options. Very good at explaining how everything works. They helped with a gas line for my dryer as well. Very fair pricing and their response time is amazing. I will use them for life and recommend to everyone.

It's only fair to give credit where it's due. I got a new furnace and air conditioner installed by Climate Tech about 4 months ago. Jeff and Joe installed the system in one day, which was helpful in minimizing the time I had to be away from work. The metal work looks good, the piping looks good; nothing sloppy and they kept the job clean.

Last week I noticed some water under the furnace. Jeff came out the next day to inspect it and had it fixed under warranty within the week. I was happy with the install back in July, but figured I would wait to see how it performed and not just review instantly. To me it means a lot for a company to come back out and willingly fix issues with the equipment they install. So I would rate my experience with Climate Tech as good; good original install, and a confidence-inspiring service experience later.

This family owned business provided professional, caring, great service. Jeff will come back as many times, if needed, to make sure the job is properly done. His sons were friendly, level headed, professional work ethic. Would only consider them in future. Thanks for your knowledge and skill.

We scheduled an appointment for a quote for a hot water tank and furnace today from 10-2. We were in the backyard with out phones. At 12:12 I noticed that they had texted at 12:05 that they had arrived. I answered with "were here", then headed out front. Nobody was there. At 12:22 they responded that they left a card and we would need to reschedule. I asked them to call me. They did not call me. At 1232 I texted and stated that if they did not show up by two that I would take my business elsewhere. At 2 pm they texted "I suggest you go elsewhere". A simple phone call when they arrived would have solved this problem instead of relying on a text only. I have two dogs. Its unlikely that they knocked or rang the doorbell. I'm glad I discovered what their customer service was like before actually hiring them.

Moved into my home a few months ago and wanted an inspection of the furnace before it got too cold (furnace is 25 years old). Had Joe and his father, Jeff do an inspection and fix the humidifier. They were very knowledgeable & answered all of my (many) questions, were professional, and had a fair rate! Super nice, would recommend!
