the only positive of this experience is that Temprasure was quick to come out. on a Saturday.

Called because AC unit was not working correctly. unit would turn on, but the house was only recirculating air. Alfred checked the pressures at the unit and showed me that with the unit running, the pressures where not increasing or changing in any way. Alfred told me at this point, without performing any other diagnostics, that I would need a new compressor. the only thing he mentioned is that i need to clean off the dirt and pollen from the unit as it hasn't been done in some time. charged $125 for the "Service" call at this point.

Alfred left with photos of the model and serial number. He stated he would contact the manufacture on Monday to determine if the unit is under warranty or not. After he left, I was able to look up the warranty info and confirm it was under warranty. shortly after Alfred left, I received two quotes via email. One was for a new compressor and labor ($3000 plus Michigan sales tax). The second was for a new unit (over $5000)

I contacted a second company. (Andy's Statewide) and they had a technician in the area. They agreed to waive the service fee since he was close. Technician came out, we discussed the issue and what Alfred said. technician agreed the unit needed cleaned but believed it was the starting capacitor. He had me start the unit up, and then he measured the voltage across the Capacitor. it essentially read 0 volts.

Andys statewide technician went to his work van, got a new cap, installed it, and had the unit working correctly. his total time onsite was less than Alfred's. i was charged $330 for the new capacitor. (1/9thth of the lowest quote I received from Temprasure)

I requested a refund from Tempasure, but I was denied. I was told via text that "I got what I paid for" the only attempt at any reimbursement was they offered 10% off any service I purchase.

Because of this experience, i don't recommend using this company.

The Technician arrived and started complaining about the 2 1/2 ton AC split unit we have. He stated, I don't like working on these. I found out why very quickly that the Technician was uneducated in Mini-Splits. I informed him that we have been using a Mini-split for almost five years (we own a second unit). He then tells me, "Those things are not reliable and breakdown." Then the killing thing, the Technician didn't have the proper tools and didn't have the knowledge concerning the brand nor how long a Split AC would last. We've been using the system for almost four years.
Then the guy tried to up-sale me a 4-ton unit by quoting figures and tonnage as if it would make me forget he never checked the AC for low freon. Wait, he couldn't because he showed up without the proper tools and equipment.

Now I see they have posted a response to blame the original installers because I called them to check the Freon pressure, but they were unable to carry out simple tasks.

Soooooo, on 16 September I called to have this company do a service call on my 2 1/2 ton Mini-Split AC. The technician shows up and as soon as he sees the unit, he begins complaining about how he hates working on Mini-Split ACs and that they don't last long. I tell him that I have received a code on the unit that there is a possible Refrigerant Leak. Then this technician offers a diatribe about getting rid of the unit and purchasing a standard 4-ton AC unit from his company. I explain to him that we have a second 2-ton Mini-Split in use for five years and haven't had any issues with it. He stops talking for a minute and says, "I guess I will check the Refrigerant>" Surprising to me, this guy didn't have the proper tools to open the valves nor check the pressures.

Stay away from this company. Their technicians really need refresher training on Customer Service.

Terrible. My issue was a simple clog that another company fixed within 10 mins of being on the site. And here I’m still waiting for Temprasure to give me a quote for repairs they said would be well north of $1000. They charged me $100 for a 30 min diagnostic, where they did absolutely nothing except put water down a drain to see if it was clogged - did not mention that the it was clogged or that the clog was the source of my issue. Call a reliable company and get the job done right the first time!

My furnace was making a grinding noise, so I called them to check it out and hopefully get it repaired. Guy came over, looked at it for a couple minutes, determined the issue (inducer motor), and then proceeded to try to tell me i should just get a new furnace because of the age of the system. I couldn't afford that, only wanted to fix the broken part. He gave me an estimated quote, then said he would contact me that night after looking up the part i needed. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. He charged me $100 to do absolutely NOTHING. Do not use this company.

For the record, i had someone else come out and he said despite my furnace being old it was in really good condition and it didn't need replacing. The part is on order and i will be working with them instead.

My elderly non english speaking parents needed their water heater replaced and Temprasure did not leave until they made sure my parents were satisfied and they very happy to have hot water once again. They were very patient with them and appreciated how they did not abandon them even though I know sometimes it's hard to deal with my non speaking parents. I liked how Temprasure handled the service and they checked back with us a few days later to make sure that everything was still working good. I definitely would recommend this company for anyone needing their services.

We called on may 23rd for service on the first hot day of the year and need to run the AC. We had found water pooling by the furnace.

They charged us $100 to tell us to change the air filter while talking up their service package. We were assured this would remedy the situation. We asked to have the coils checked just in case and were told it was unnecessary.

Cue the morning ofJune 5th. We run the AC again to find the same exact problem. Immediately reach out. We proceed to have no response that day This problem is immediate and we reached out to other services.

Problem was was a non level drip pan. Easily diagnosed by other professionals.

We heard no response until today when we reached out asking for a refund because we felt services had not been rendered.

The cost of using this service was
$100 to Temprasure
$400 for other technicians
Water damage from standing water in my basment.

I called Temprasure because my heat wasn't working all night. Alfred Stewart arrived sooner than expected, which was great. I received a call to let me know he would be able to arrive earlier. He was very professional and I would use this company for service again.

Our heat went out, called Alfred, the owner, and he was here within the hour to tell us that we needed a new furnace, because the heat exchanger had holes and was leaking gas! He returned 2 days later to replace the unit; it was a lengthy process, abt 10hrs, but it was well worth it! We have our heat back and we don’t need to wear 2 extra layers of clothes and blankets! Fantastic job! Very professional, told us exactly what we needed, even encouraged us to get a second opinion, which we did, and they said the same thing! So, we went with Al! We’ll definitely recommend you to everyone we know!

I contacted Temprasure on July 4, and was pleasantly surprised to hear back that day saying that they would send someone to check my AC that day. Later however they contacted me again to say that a truck had gone down, and, since it was July 4 it wouldn’t be able to be fixed that day, and to expect that I would be first in line on Monday, at 9am.

When 11:00 rolled around that Monday, July 6, I texted Alfred to get an update, and he told me that they had suffered an accident that morning. I thanked him for telling me and asked to get updates. He assured me that I could expect to see him later that day. That evening when I hadn’t heard back, I messaged him again and was told he would be “calling me shortly” with updates. When I didn’t hear from him that night, I messaged him the next two days before giving up. I eventually got my AC fixed by a different company. I was incredibly disappointed to be ghosted like that. I am almost always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but Temprasure left me with no contact and no AC during the hottest week of the year to date.
