Called them to check the sewer backed up on our restaurant's kitchen. They came and tried snack that and snack this and in the restroom to out side building. They can't fix the problem but charged us $587 but we paid only $401. They should tell us first if they can't fix the main problem that we wanted them to fix before going to do other things. Never call these guys again.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

Unbelievably unethical. Consisent with other reviewers, I recently called Lakeview to have a drain snaked only to have them tell me the roots were impassible and I would need to pay $2400 to have the line dug up and replaced. Sensing the tech's lack of honesty, I called another company that managed to have the line cleared in 30 minutes with a standard machine (can you believe it!?!? must be a miracle!!!).

I'll take the blame for the rest of this as I should have never continued to do business with them after the above. However, I did need an outside cleanout installed regardless and their quote was the best. They quoted me $1400 to install a clean out and hydro-jet the line, and perform a small plumbing job inside (convert a single sink plumbing to a double sink plumbing).

They installed the clean out and said they hydro-jetted the line which, based on their specific representations, would completely clear the line of roots and I would then only need to be concerned with re-growth. 3 weeks later my drains were completely stopped again. I called and asked that they come back out and clear the drain as obviously something wasn't done properly the first time. Joe agreed to come back out and jet the line. . . for. . . wait for it. . . the low low discount price of $700!! I told him that obviously the original hydro-jet did not accomplish what he said it would and it was failed workmanship. He simply said there was no guarantees on drain cleaning. I called the other company that had no problem clearing the drain originally, Levine & Sons, who agreed to come back out and snake the drain again based on it backing up again within 30 days.

Additionally, when they came to do the other plumbing work, the plumber who measured/qouted the job (Joe) didn't communicate to the guy who did the work (Mike) what was supposed to be done. Instead of installing the double sink plumbing, he simply "set" the vanity and cut the wrong holes in the back of the vanity. They eventually came out and fixed this, requiring me to take more time off work and leaving unnecessary holes in my vanity.

Bottom line is, with so many available professionals to work with, there is no reason to deal with a company that has a demonstrated history of being unethical.

This has been some time ago but this guy is a true criminal. He should't be allowed to be in business. Had leak on the weekend. Called him and he sent someone out. After the guy left I turned on water and it was shooting out right away. Called and had to wait 2 hours or so for him to return. He redid the job. Week later it broke back open full bore pouring water everywhere and damaging property. It was hard to get them to come back out. Guy kept claiming something must have been done to it. When they finally came out, at 9 pm in the evening, I showed the guy the mess of water everywhere. He said he had to go out to his truck and then never returned. The owner then would not answer calls. Blocked my phone. I finally got a hold of him and he claimed I had sworn when the guy came in the house. i don't recall it but after a large amount of water damage and three trips who could blame me. He completely stonewalled and I finally got someone else to fix it.

I can't began to Thank Chris T for all his extreme knowledge and passion to do his job right! His professionalism and work is off the charts. We have had the experience of working with Chris a few times in the last few months. The first time we met Chris was after our family went through a fire a few days after Christmas and he was more than compassionate in making sure our home was safe to the best of his ability. This hard working gentleman deserves to be recognized. Thank you again Chris! 😀

I called last month to have a outside light repaired, they had initially installed. The service man fixed the light and broke the latch on my privacy fence gate, how I don't know, but he said the wind blew it off, which it was not, and even if it were windy, it would not totally break a latch off a gate..Wow! What a liar. No apology or offer to repair. I reported this to the main office and haven't heard from them since. This ended up being a very expensive 'service call'...Never again will I call Lakeview Mechanical. If you are reading this call someone else to do any work in your home.

Called three times to schedule an appointment for a quote to rough plumb a basement bathroom. Never called back the first time. No one ever showed up the other two times where a time was scheduled. Do not waste your time with this company!

DO NOT USE LAKEVIEW MECHANICAL!! We had our AC unit serviced by Lakeview Mechanical and had to hire someone else to do the work properly. After Lakeview replaced our condenser fan motor in 2016, it failed as we turned on our system this year. We had paid $418 for the service. The new technicians from DTE serviced the unit and immediately stated that the WRONG MOTOR was installed and that is why it burned out so quickly. They said the reason why was that the RPM's on the Lakeview installed motor ran at 1150 and the OEM from the AC unit says it needs to be 825. This extra load on the motor and fan blades causes the motor to fail. I went to the OEM's website for the AC unit and double checked the specs and the DTE techs were exactly right. Then I went to a few HVAC blogs with these types of failures and they also confirmed that the motor installed by Lakeview with the wrong RPM specs is the reason the motor failed. After having all of this information, we called Lakeview Mechanical and asked for some compensation on the work that they did since they installed the wrong motor per the manufacturer. They said that the RPM's on a fan motor would not cause it to fail, and that it would only run louder. The technician from Lakeview called us and actually offered up his OWN money because he felt so bad. We obviously did not take his money and wanted the compensation from the company that backed his work and most likely instructed him to install the wrong motor. In the end, Lakeview Mechanical either does not fully understand the systems they work on, or do not stand behind their work. Please save yourself some time and money and use another company for your HVAC needs.

We've called on this company twice. Once on Mother's Day (Sunday) for a back up in basement and once at 9:30 at night during the week for a leaky valve under kitchen sink. Both times he came out quick and fixed the issue.
