I hired this company to fix my furnace/AC. The technician came to my home and supposedly fixed my furnace/AC by replacing a wet circuit board. However, a couple of minutes after he left, my furnace/AC stopped working again. I was able to catch the technician while he was still in my driveway to let him know that the furnace/AC stopped working. He went back into the basement, took a look at the inside of the furnace, and said the coils were frozen and that he didn't know what to do. He said that I would just have to wait until the following week to have the problem fixed. I asked for my money back and went back upstairs while he bolted the panels onto the furnace (which turned out to be a BIG mistake). He bolted the panels back on the furnace, gave me my credit card slip, and left. When I called the company to let them know what happened, the owner or the manager (I am not sure which) said obviously you aren't happy with our company so why don't you just call another. A few days later, I had another company come out. When they removed the panel, they immediately called me into the basement and said that the circuit board had been ripped out and only the wires were left hanging. The new company said it looked as if it had been done maliciously and that the furnace should have never been left that way. They also said no other company would touch the furnace with the wires hanging and no circuit board inside. I called Lakeview and I asked that someone come out immediately to fix the problem. The manager hung up the phone in my face. He also wouldn't answer the phone when I called back or respond to any of my text messages (that contained pics of the damage). I am still very upset about the entire experience. This company is highly unethical.

Justin, Josh and Junior did an excellent job waterproofing my basement, Chad also did a great job on the new basement toilet installation. They all went above and beyond, I have been using Lakeview for various issues through the years and they always send courteous and knowledgeable crews! And thanks to Carol for keeping them all heading in the right direction every day!

Do not trust this company!! They don't pull permits! Had a leak in my laundry room and was told my pipe was busted. They got approval from my insurance company to fix it but then they got greedy and told me that my entire basement needed to be replaced. The plumber told me that the insurance company would even pay for new floors, walls and more. I told him I'm not a liar and only wanted my problem pipes fixed. Because my insurance company didn't trust them, they had their own plumbers come out to take a look and they talked to Lakeview and told them that they were doing inferior work and trying to rip off the insurance company. We called the owner of the company (Ed) and he wasn't much help and threatened us with his lawyers. We finally kicked Lakeview Plumbing out of our house and hired other people to finish the job. We did not steal from the insurance company and they are not use to that. They told me everybody does it. Well, a few years later and a new problem...I was told that the work was not done properly and I should have them come back out to fix their errors. We have decided NOT to have that company ever back to our house. Make sure you get VERBAL recommendations and make sure the company files PERMITS. I would not hire this company to clean my floors!!!

Zero stars! Buckle up everyone, this is going to be a ride. I called this company for a plumbing issue. Charlie Baker came out and used a camera to look at the sewer line. He was supposed to call me and let me know what the cost would be that day since I was not there when he came out, but ended up calling two days later. About 3 weeks later I called to schedule an appointment to have to work completed. I spoke with Carol, who told me she would find out who was out at the house and have him give me a call. One week passes by and no one called, so I called back. So I call again, and speak with Carol again. She tells me she will have the guy give me a call the next morning at 11am. Again, no call. I'm pretty frustrated at this point and end up calling and speaking with another person who says he will have the manager call me on Monday morning when he gets in. Usually at this point, I would go with a different company, but since they had already come out they would take the $179 I paid already and put it toward the job. I finally!! get a call back and he was very nice and helpful. For some reason they don't have any notes from Charlie about what needs to be done, so they are going to send him out again to run the camera again and give me a quote.. again. So we schedule it and I'm going to be there this time so there's no confusion. He comes back out, emails me a quote, I call to schedule and he calls me back on Thursday 5/23, my daughter is sick so I don't get a chance to call him back, so he calls again today on 5/30. I was at work and did not get his message until the evening. He also had sent me a text message saying he wanted to come out tomorrow and to please let him know if that was ok. When I finally got his message I texted him back letting him know tomorrow wasn't going to work. At this point he says he also called me yesterday, which is untrue. After everything that had happened I am finally fed up. As you can see from the text messages between us, he got very rude. First of all, he had to come out and recamera for no charge because HE lost the notes from the first visit! UNREAL!! Please do not waste your time like I did! This outfit came highly recommended. We live in Grosse Pointe Woods and we wanted to convert a breezeway into a heated space and we needed new duct work! Lakeview to the rescue. 1st they sent out a yeoman named Kevin who had the job designed and planned before it started then they sent an Ace by the name of Chris. The owner is a Veteran of the United States Armed Services named Ed. All in all the job was priced right and more over, the quality was of such high magnitude it honestly raised the value of our home by $20,000.00+ for about a grand in green backs!

Called Lakeview Mechanical when temperatures were below zero for the water heater and furnace at our church, they were out within two hours. Dave repaired the water heater promptly and Bob came out the next day to fix the furnace. Both men were very courteous and professional, even putting booties over their shoes so as not to track in salt and snow. I had earlier called a different company and while they came out they said they needed a different wrench and left to get it and didn't come back for two days, that is when I called Lakeview. I would hire them again for any heating and cooling problem.

Our AC went out and since it was mid week and didn't have time to troubleshoot, I asked my wife to call someone. She called Lakeview Mechanical mainly because they designed and installed the system about 12 years ago. Don Rappert came out later that evening and recommended we replace the air handler and compressor -- total cost $4,680. According to Don we had to act fast because running the AC as is would result in water damage and mold. That Friday evening I climbed up to the attic and within minutes could tell the water pump was running but it wasn't removing the condensation water. I removed the pump and it was pretty obvious that the outlet was clogged. Took less than 5 minutes to disassemble and clean out the blockage. Lakeview Mechanical charged $245 for the service call, didn't correctly identify/fix the problem, and tried to sell me an un needed $4,680 system. Don Rappert kept telling me how he had over 20 years of experience. Yeah, 20 years of ripping people off! It was an expensive lesson and could have been worse. I will never use Lakeview Mechanical for anything.

Have called on this company several times.Always satisfied with prompt response. Today Josh repaired my toilet quickly and efficiently. Arrived minutes after I was notified he was on his way and he was very pleasant.
