Quoted $165-$175 to come out and snake. They also ended up using camera. We were charged $465 for an hours worth of work. I asked for an itemized bill, and stated I may post the bill online, and a manager lost his cool. We agreed on $100 refund... Which never came, and now the mailbox is full when he rejects my number.
The work is holding up, however I wouldn't trust recommending these folks to family or friends... Seems the extras come at a steep price.

I had a new air conditioner installed yesterday to replace my 27 year old Carrier unit. Everything went as planned, the technicians were 5-star in every way and the Customer Service Rep who answers the telephone at their office was great too!! Now I'm looking forward to those hot Michigan summer days - Thank you, Lakeview.

We had our old fuses replaced with a new circuit breaker box. Chris, Keegan, and George were phenomenal workers. I highly recommend Lakeview Mechanical; they are amazing.

April 23, 2021 - I am the latest to submit a very poor review of this company. Do not use this company!! I had used this company for years and they were fine - until this year, they are terrible in every way. Also, I am a real estate agent and I will make sure my clients know about my personal experience. In February of this year, I had called Lakeview to install a new toilet. The very inexperienced guy came to my home and yes installed a new toilet. Within a few days the toilet was unstable - so, I had tightened the bolts myself. Within a month, I had notices water beneath the tiles - coming through the grout. I had called the company for a service call and told them the water was leaking beneath my tile - actually, the installation guy had cracked 3 tiles around the toilet and left the tiles unlevel. When the second service guy (I prefer not to say technician or repairman because they do not fit either description) he said the toilet was installed incorrectly. He said he would need to get a part and would call me later in the day or the next day. Three days later after no call and a toilet sitting in the middle of my bathroom, I called the company to find out when he was going to call/return. When he did return, I was given a bill (per the guy - it won't be much) it was very close to the same amount for installation - a couple hundred dollars plus. I said I was surprised to be charged at all because it was incorrectly installed by their company 6 weeks earlier. He gave me a line of excuses. There was no mention of repair of the tile or cleaning the water beneath the tile. I had called the company to talk about the issue and bill. I was told the supervisor would return my call - well it's been 5 days so far. Do you think I have received a call - right, it will never happen. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this very poor company. Please refer to all of the reasons above - use a reputable company, not this one.

I had a sewer line break in front of my house. My usual guy recommended Lakeview Mechanical. Am I glad he did. Josh, who responded to my call, came out , inspected and answered all my questions (and I had a lot). I got a great price, everyone I spoke to was polite, the work was done in one day, and the clean up was amazing. I was expecting a huge mess as I had to have similar work done years ago, but there was no mess left behind. There is a mound of dirt,which is standard with sewer line repair, but they made it as unobtrusive as possible. They cleaned up my sidewalk, my grass, everything. Very friendly and very professional.

We chose Lakeview Mechanical out of all others because of Chris. When he initially came to our house to get info for an estimate, I knew we found the right company. He was so professional and personable. He was honest, and insightful, and guided us in making the right decisions for our home. The crew that installed our new from scratch central air, was Amazing!!! They all were professional, personable, and the completed work is more than what we expected. I would've given 5 stars, but sometimes limited communication in regards to when the crew was to arrive was disappointing. Still, Thank You All for your hard work and commitment!!

As you know we experienced a lot of rain in a short amount of time and some of us had our basements flooded. Just as bad as it was in 2014. I knew this time the damage was bad to my Hot Water Tank and would need to be replaced. I called on a plumber, but lo and behold, my air went out...well the blower fan. Since this particular plumber was swamped and really only did plumbing, I needed someone to do both. Lakeview Mechanical was the solution. I had dealt with them before on a friend's renovation of their large home about 25 yrs. ago. I have seen their Vans still all over, so I knew they were still in business. I called and was immediately told the Hot Water, if in the flood should be replaced. I said I was aware. They came out that same day to install a new one and had scheduled an Air Conditioning contractor for that afternoon. Well, they called me around 2:30pm to say that it the air conditioning had to be rescheduled for the next day. I didn't mind at all, even though it was hot, I wanted to enjoy my hot water with a lengthy shower and put my pj's on, not matter what time I was done. LOL All the workers were friendly, pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond, which has put me at ease. I will be using their services again. Ed was understanding and cooperative with respects to this unexpected dual expense. The company offers their business credit cards with financing available. Check them out. I have more projects for them, but need to take a break for a bit, however, they are the ones I will call. I suggest you call them first.

I had no heat and they came out first thing in the morning but unfortunately the unit wasn’t working. I had to get a new unit and with in 12 hours it was fixed with a great price. Great company with great workers. I definitely

use them again!

I sent an email to compare prices from other companies, and Ed was the fastest to reply. He came in a couple hundred under the original quote and was very responsive and informative. He put me in touch with Chris to discuss things in more detail. Chris was great. Super informative and thorough in the phone call and in-home estimate. Very honest and down to earth. Job well done. I highly recommend this company.

We hired Lakeview Mechanical to install a new attic AC system in our home. Their quote was competitive, and their estimator (Kevin) was very polite and knowledgeable. The crew showed up on time, was friendly and efficient, and did a good job. The crew leader (Dave) kept us informed of the progress and made sure that we were satisfied. They also were very careful to clean up each day. We would recommend them for AC work.
