This company tried to tell us we needed a huge repair that was not needed. This was confirmed by two other plumbers that came out.

First time I called this business for a plumbing issue and they were at my house the next day and fixed the problem quickly! I live in Royal Oak and have tried many different plumbers with mixed reviews. These guys were awesome. Thanks Joel for the a job really well done, and neat!!

I should have updated this a long while ago. The problem was actually never repaired properly and still is an issue to this day.

After basements in Grosse Pointe flooded, my neighbors were surprised how quickly I had a new hot water tank. “I called Lakeview,” I told them, and Mason was at my house later that day. The rain revealed that I needed to solve a problem with my storm drain. Charlie diagnosed the issue, and Mason returned to perform the excavation. It was a dirty job, but they worked very hard to ensure the repair was done correctly. I’ve owned this house for 35 years, and I have learned to call Lakeview first.

I had my a/c go out on me and I called Lakeview. They were out to me same day to service my unit. They were honest and trustworthy and their workmanship doesn't compare to the other shoddy, undercutting companies I have used in the past. I decided to get a new furnace put in because I knew they would do a excellent job at the best price. Thanks to Dave C for doing a job well done. Will be telling friends and family about Lakeview!

They hydrojetted my sink and unclogged the drain from backing up. They were honest and told me I didn't need a new disposal. I've had a different company come out previously and quoted me $1200 for the same job and apparently I needed a new disposal. Lakeview's price was very reasonable! I called them and they came out to fix the issues within 2 hours. Very convenient, prompt and straight forward! Will definitely call them again for any other issue.
Update 3/2/2020: The Lady named Karolyn or Kaitlyn or whatever who claim to be the supervisor, is very rude! I called to cancel my appointment and she was very eager to get me off the phone before giving me a chance to explain further about some other issues I am facing in my house that I may need them to take a look. I told her I need to speak to someone else and she started yelling "HOLD ON, I AM GETTING YOU SOMEONE ELSE!" She clearly needs customer service training or file for retirement if she is really the "supervisor". I've had Lakeview do business for me in the past and my experience was great until today because of this lady who ruined my morning!
UPDATE 6/15/2020: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES ON THE PHONE!! I just called to ask about the repair list they were supposed to send me to get the jobs done at my rental. First day I called they said they will email it to me, I got nothing, 2nd time I called, they emailed me the wrong paper, today(3rd time) I called a male picked up whom I never spoke to before kept cutting me off, trying to tell me "I am getting excited", and then tells me they can use less customers because 65 employees can't handle too many jobs right now due to "covid thing"! HE tells me to find another company. I told him to have the manager or the owner call me and he goes "NO WAY!" and hung up the phone! So, find a different company or IF you call, talk to the owner directly because he is trained to talk to his customers and knows how to hold on to his business!!

We have nothing but praise for Lakeview Mechanical! The Dynamic Duo of Don and Kevin quickly identified and resolved a recent issue with our new furnace that had to do with the pipes and return air flow! Being experienced, knowledgeable heating/cooling experts is one thing... but they are bona fide scientists, as well! (I will forever think of Kevin as the "Duct-Pipe Whisperer!") Carol and Michelle, in the front office, could not be more helpful. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Charlie and his crew at Lakeview Mechanical. I had a pipe burst under the cement in basement. I called several local companies but was disappointed with the response. No one could pin point where problem was resulting in them wanting to break up one part of basement and if that didn't work then they would break up other part. Some i never got estimates from. Charlie came out same day found the problem. Him and his crew were out within a week. They moved what needed to be moved, contained the dust, mopped up when done and put everything back. Charlie was very patient with me and all.my questions. Even spoke to me after hours and on Sunday since I can't make calls from work. He helped walk me through insurance nightmare as well. He even came out when I noticed water in basement and found it was an extension we had on the down spout. I gave met Paul who will handle putting everything back together. I would defenitly recommend Charlie.

Josh and John came out to repair our broken storm drain quickly. They did a great job and left the area super clean and tidy. With the new floor poured, Josh asked if the kids wanted to write their names in the cement before it cured. They thought that was really fun. We will definitely call Josh again.

This company is a total rip-off!! My elderly Mother called them when her air went out.
He came out and went into the backyard to check the air conditioner, He came back in shortly & informed her that the unit was to old and couldn't fixed. He told her it need to be replaced, sat down & wrote 2 estimates. One for $2000+, the other for $3000+. Luckily my Mom got one of my brothers on the phone to talk to him, after that conversation my Mom and brother decided to wait. Then my mom got one of my other brothers on the phone and told him the situation, he was able to send his handy man over to take a look at it. He came out and looked at it, it took him 10 -15 minutes to find the problem! It was a $10 part...

So obviously my brother wasn't happy, he called Lakeview back & explained the situation.
Lakeview's lame response was that with a unit that age you can fix them and you never know when the will break down again. Really? Isn't that a decision for the homeowner to make.

So call them at your own risk, they are liars & cheats!!!

Called and set up appointment, left work eairly to meet appt time!they never showed up and no call...i call them, they say ill find out what going on call you back in 5min.........2 1/2 later i call back....they say they will have there on call tech call me......still waiting and its the next moring....do not recommend this place worst service i have ever seen.......
