We had Levine and Sons install our furnace, A/C and some new ductwork in 7/2016, and we have been working extremely satisfied.

In the last few weeks, as we had weather going between cold and hot, we noticed that our outdoor compressor wasn’t running. We contacted Levine and Sons on line and were able to schedule a service evaluation in their site. We could have actually had them come on Memorial Day, but opted for the day after.

Technician Chaim Zeiler arrived on time after we were advised he was on his way. Chaim, an obviously highly experienced tech, asked about our problem, ensured the thermostat was running right, evaluated our furnace, checked the filter, (we thankfully had a spare!), and then proceeded to give our compressor a thorough evaluation.

The repair was thankfully a relatively simple one, but in the process, Chaim gave us a great education in how the whole system works, cleaned the condenser, tested the connections to the outdoor fuse, checked and regulated the refrigerant levels and made certain everything was running exactly the way it should.

We have used Levine and Sons to do extensive plumbing repairs and boiler maintenance at my mom’s and now we are happy to continue to have them provide great equipment and only the highest quality service on same. We can recommend Chaim Zeiler wholeheartedly as a tech we’d be happy and relieved to come to our home and Levine and Sons as our only go-to for heating, cooling, and plumbing.

My husband called Levine & Sons to have our furnace service after it stopped keeping up. They set us up with a next day appointment. Jim arrived on time. Quickly identified the issue, cleaned it to look like new, replaced a part, and went above and beyond overall. We will be going to them from now on.

Our tech Anthony came to snake our strange and winding plumbing. It’s definitely a tricky system and at first if didn’t look like it was going to clear. But he kept at it and worked really hard. And viola toilet miraculously started flushing. I can’t explain my relief!! So happy with the service we received

The technician Jim, that they sent out didn’t know what he was doing. Told us our heat exchanger was cracked when it wasn’t and the furnace was just really dirty. Charged us for a full cleaning but did not clean it. Told us it would be $8k to replace the whole thing. We ended up getting a whole new furnace through a different company for half the price. Once they got things opened up they identified it was clogged and the heat exchanger wasn’t cracked at all. Would have run fine once fully cleaned, which would’ve been a dirty job, but totally doable. We wasted so much money because of Jim’s negligence. We will never use this company again. They overcharge and lecture you instead of doing the job you pay them to do.
