I recently began working from home & have been purchasing necessities for my office. I have made a few trips to Staples & their customer service is priceless. Most recently, I needed a vga/hdmi adapter & purchased one. It didn't work so I brought it back. The store manager (or assistant manager) knew right away what needed to be done to fix my problem. BAM! He removed some hardware from my old cord, the adapter worked, & I was on my way. He went out of his way to help. He could have easily told me what needed to be done & left me there to figure things out. Thank you for going the extra mile!

This is a great supply store I'm able to get in and out easily all the time. The print shop staff is particularly skilled and helpful plus, the prices are SO right in comparison to a few of the boutique print shops around town.

And I want to write something here to a few of the other reviewers after having worked in IT for years: Its not the repairman teams fault that YOU broke YOUR computer. I just felt like making that VERY clear.

Location: 3003 E Michigan Ave, Lansing (near Frandor). Good selection of office supplies. Got knowledgeable help with PC and printer shopping. Very friendly and helpful wrkrs. Ample parking.

My employer has a an account that prepays for printing orders made. We ran into an issue with payment on my last order. But with what little information I had they were able to find everything they needed and get the job paid for without anything coming out of my pocket. Very professional group here.

So I came to the print center to print out work for a project, and they got all the dimensions wrong the first time. This was about 2 o’clock in the afternoon. About half an hour before close (8:30) I come in to see what the hold up is and they completely forgot about my re-prints, and tried to have me pay AGAIN even though over the phone they stated it was their mistake. Not sure about the rest of the store, but if you got prints go somewhere else. They are cheap but it’s definitely not worth the hassle.

The one hour online pickup mostly works. Purchases that take longer arrive at different times. All of the employees are very helpful and welcoming, but there is always a wait at the online pickup. I think that is because of it's location next to the Help desk. It took me several trips to the store to get my complete order.

This is my second trip within a week. I ordered things online and picked them up as well as getting items at the store. In a crazy holiday season the staff were tremendous. I will definitely make Staples my number one place to look for items now.

I go to Staples quite often, so I receive discounts off my receipts. I also turn in my empty printer cartridges and receive $2 each in return for these for use in the store. They take a total of 10 cartridges per month. I was disappointed when I bought new cartridges, and I could only use one coupon towards the cartridges. I had a $10 off a $20 purchase, plus I had a $20 off because of turning in 10 cartridges. Even though the coupons were completely different, I was only allowed to use one at a time. Since I was so disgusted, I handed the $10 off coupon to the woman behind me and said that I would get some cartridges from Sam's, because they are on sale there. I don't care if I have to pay more at Sam's.

My mother just spoke to a customer service person at the East Michigan Ave store . Her name is Denisha and she was excellent. My mother voiced complaint and Denisha immediately took some positive action by saying she personally would check for correct type of product that was needed to exchange and she would save for her. I would like to clue some of the workers at Staples remember that most people are not as versed in technical information on the products sold at Staples. I would encourage the sales people to try and assist customers as much as possible even if it seems like people should have enough sense to know what they are paying for. It will affect the bottom line which is profit and maybe end results could be a raise.
