Brad and the rest of the team at Penning were great!! They got to my house with in an hour of calling and were able to start and finish job job right away! I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!!

Do not underestimate the importance of gas. Most people think about water when they think of plumber. My gas lines for my new washer needed to be replaced. It was a rigged copper tubing that needed to be replaced. He installed a brand new utility sink, put on brand new washer hookups and put in the new gas line. The entire project was done in a matter of a few hours and it was done perfectly. Get Adam if you can.

Wife set up appointment for an estimate for electrical work. Wanted to switch to electric range. Nice man came to do estimate. We never heard another word from them. No follow up what so ever. Must have been too small of a job for them.

Called for toilet replacement and they were there the next day. Basement bathroom. Service was great as usual, price was reasonable. Penning is our go to plumbing company.

What did I not like about this business? Poor customer service and appearance of deception were not listed! I would recommend that you look elsewhere for plumbing work from this company. Giving this company a one star rating only because of the performance of the water heater itself - not for the benefit of the company. We were in a tight spot and they took a costly advantage of it. We had a leaky water heater issue that escalated rapidly and we had to turn water off for a few days. They came and told us of different levels of service for which we chose the lowest possible level - with a quote of just shy of $4000 - to replace a water heater!! The work was performed while I was at work (my husband was home). Everything looked all shiny & new. I was a bit alarmed with the final price tag so I called the company and asked if I could have an itemized statement. The manager was quite rude and asked what I was going to do with it. I told him that I wanted it for my records & he informed me they didn't give out itemized statements. He told me we received everything that we had signed up for & eventually, he hung up on me after I told him I thought we had a right to know what we paid for. No transparency gave me the impression he may be trying to keep something from us because of his unwillingness to discuss it further. Felt taken advantage of. He wasn't willing to and didn't even try to explain WHY the cost was so high. Poor customer care & service.

Rip-Off!!!!
Penning Plumbing ripped off my elderly parents. For the cheapest kitchen faucet, they charged over $500. Are you kidding?
They also ripped us off for having a drain cleaned in the basement.
We won’t be calling you guys again!!!

Do not recommend. Had 4ft piece of 2 inch pvc pipe approximately $15.00 at Home Depot 1 pvc fitting approximately $5.00 at Home Depot and a rubber boot maybe $10.00 and a $2.00 hanger . Made 1 cut with saw took total of about a half hour . Cost just shy of $500.00 and that was the bronze package. Gold package was just shy of $1000.00 . That comes out to a labor rate of about $900.00 per hour. I understand they need to make money. Probably could have hired the government to fix it for less with 5 other people standing around.

Had a great quote experience with them. The guy who came over was very kind and knowledgeable. We’ve scheduled an electrical appointment. I’ll update my review when we know how it goes!

Ridiculously expensive with low quality!

They installed a sink and a leak formed 30 minutes later, they were slow to get back out despite being on their emergency list so I was forced to fix the leak myself. Seems like this company doesn’t understand the virtues of customer service.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a service provider

My A/C unit went out at the worst possible time, Penning's really came through for me. They were able to visit same day, quickly evaluate and repair on the spot. Darrel was the technician and was very knowledgeable and friendly. You can easily tell he loves his work and helping people. He gave me updates as he was working on it and also cleaned the unit and shared with me some details I wouldn't have noticed. I was not pressured with needless upsells and the value was appropriate, never felt I needed to bid out. I feel like I can trust this company with my future A/C and plumbing needs. I'm extremely happy.
