Godwin Plumbing & Hardware

Called these guys to replace my hot water heater. They provided great over the phone service and were able to come out quicker than expected. The plumber doing the work was nice and had it done in a few hours. After all that, I thought their rates were very fair and reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

Just had Godwin Plumbing come this lat week and I would HIGHLY recommend them. We had a leak after installing our dishwasher (ourselves 😬). They came in, did their job, and left. We have had other “big name” companies come and we had to spend 20 mins being convinced of other services we did not need. We are very pleased with the service!

Our experience with Godwin has been amazing. The entire process of replacing our furnace was very easy with each of the individuals we worked with making sure we understood the process and what would be best for our home. We also appreciated the extra time that was spent helping use learn how to operate the system the in the most effective way possible.

I hired Godwin after a company we hired botched a job in our basement. Jim and his crew was so awesome, they were so respectful of my property, my time and my concern. Al at Godwin Plumbing is great! Had a coolant leak in my Fujitsu Halcyon two head mini split that two other companies, including the original installer, could not fix. Not only did Al find the problem, but he was happy to explain along the way everything he was doing, which I appreciated because I think of myself as handy and like to learn. I have nice cold air now, and the fees charged were completely reasonable. Godwin is my new go-to AC service company. Thanks Al!

Had a plumber come out on 10/25/21 at 8:15am to do a yearly check up on my sump pump. The plumber never cleaned the crock, never took out the sump pumps (2 are in the crock) to do an inspection to see if the pumps needed to be replaced. The only thing the plumber did was pull up on the switch and that was it. Every plumber I have out here, takes the pumps out of the crock, give each sump pump a good look over. My drain tile has sand that comes in on one side and that sand gets in the crock. The clown didn't even take the pumps out to get the sand out. I didn't argue with the plumber, if the quality of service was this bad, I didn't want him taking the pumps out, and putting them in wrong after cleaning the crock. This plumber never did any of that. I've noticed that Godwin plumbers have not been very good at my house the past couple times they have been here. I will be going to another company from now on.

I really appreciate the very good work at Godwin Hardware & Plumbing for installing my toilet and vanity sink in my basement on September 18, 2020. The Project Manager Jim Mucha, and his contractors done a very good job and was very professional with the 2 day project in my home. I was very satisfied and pleased as a new customer with the new invoice price. At Godwin Hardware & Plumbing I will highly recommend them for any home service repairs and home projects.

On 5-20-2019 I had work done by Godwin. Excellent, quick and friendly service. I had a leaking outdoor faucet and it was fixed in a jiffy at a reasonable price. I can't remember the plumbers name but he was great! I definitely will use Godwin again.

I had Godwin come look at my water softening unit bc I noticed a huge increase in iron in our water. They came out, looked at the unit, said there was nothing wrong with it but that I did, in fact, have more iron in our water. They charged me $176 for less than an hour of work and absolutely no solution. The gentleman that came out was nice, however had no answers other than I could consider spending $1800 on a bigger unit that "may or may not help." I will not be using them in the future.

The Godwin staff is amazing! Knowledgeable, prompt, courteous and they get the job done! You never know they have been in your home. They take and remove everything they bring in. I have used them for plumbing and most recent a new AC unit last July, installed by Chris and today a new furnace, installed by Lem and Simon. They are a wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend them!!!!
