Tech was super cool and friendly.
But Paid $180 for them to come check out my pool and not return calls or send a quote. Ive had family and friends also call to say they will call you back and NEVER CALL BACK. Ive heard from other ppl they just charge for a quote and never return

I called Hartford & Ratliff yesterday due to my pool furnace not working (just stopped working 3 days ago). I explained what happened and the make of heater. I said the sooner the better for a service visit. Beth asked if she could call back. She checked to confirm a next day cancellation & called me right back. The appointment was set for Noon the next day. Chuck (technician) showed up at Noon! He diagnosed the issue and did an outstanding job. He cleaned up the area upon completion and couldn’t have been more polite & friendly to work with. An outstanding experience. Thanks Hartford & Ratliff, Farmington, Michigan!

Absolutely terrible you charge $180 service call for a fuse for my heater on my pool just too show up. Also none of the $180 goes towards your fuse total charge $560 for a fuse installed in less than 30 minutes also went out again 2 weeks later DO NOT use this place RUN RUN 😡

Hartford and Ratliff services my pool heater. They came out and put in a new gas line for it this season and their work was excellent. I wpuld recommend thm easily for any heating and cooling needs.

I called and someone was able to come by within an hour of me calling. Water heater was leaking gas so obviously I wanted someone to come by quickly. He was very nice. My only issue is being charged $149 for having someone come by to just tell me something was just loose and was there for only 10 minutes. I understand companies need to make money, but dang, that isn't cheap by any means. Pricing should be more flexible. If I run into water heater issues again, I'm going to make sure I call around first.

boiler out when i got home from work. Austin returned my after hours call right away and had the heat back on very quickly. Very polite and professional, and remembered the service and maintenance done at my house before. Great company, have relied on them for many years.

My boiler wasn't working anymore just when it started to get really cold. Hartford has a chat service and I could tell them my issue at 6:30 in the morning (being uncertain about repair or replacement). I had to do some follow-up with the office, but they got me in the same day and the repair was done the same day. I needed a new pump/motor, it is now now maintenance free which is so helpful in the weird setup in my small house. They are now my go-to place for repair of my very old boiler.

This is not a generic, boiler-on-a-budget type service. They know what they are doing. It's difficult to find ANYONE that is competent with boilers, most hvac companies say they are backlogged for a month(so they dont have to come?). Definitely call these guys if you want it fixed NOW. Be ready with the credit card. Actual talent isn't cheap.
