First class!! We have had different companies come to (try) fix our Navien tankless water heater over the years but no one seemed to get it right. We have been living with inconsistent hot water - sometimes it worked, usually not. Wasted a lot of water. Hartford and Ratliff came right over, investigated, hypothesized, and diagnosed. He even improved our situation while we waited for their return visit with the necessary part. (The temporary fix was the best we’ve had for about 4 years.) They returned the next day WITH their master plumber and ensured all the angles were covered and that they had it all correct before leaving. FIRST time we’ve had hot water on demand consistently in years. I am delighted. My family is happy. Just wish I’d found this wonderful company sooner. Thank you, Hartford and Ratliff.

I hired this company twice to do repairs on a boiler in a home I purchased, which they had serviced previously before my ownership. I paid over $1K between the two appointments, and they charged me for a service call the second time even though no work was performed. I ultimately had to replace the entire system one month following, and they wouldn't give me a credit towards the new system for the work performed (which didn't hold up.) Shoddy business practice.

Prompt service which gave us peace of mind regarding our very old furnace. Pricing was explained upfront, on the phone, before the tech got here, so I knew the minimum cost just for them coming out. Also explained there could be additional charges, contingent on what he found once he got here. Very upfront with us from the get-go. We will continue to use them for our future needs!

Outstanding customer service! From their office personnel to their technicians - they are punctual, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and put the customer first. They accommodated our schedule and repaired our difficult boiler issues promptly. Can't say enough good things about Hartford and Ratliff.

Without heat due to boiler breaking. This company was able to get a part for my boiler in less than 24 hours with the part installed. This after other companies could not do the same in a timely manner. Much thanks for the urgency when a customer was without heat in the winter.

They walked around my house for an hour waiting for my heater to warm up and charged me $300 for “diagnostics.

I hate when companies think it's okay to waste a customer's time, as Hartford & Ratliff did. I scheduled a call with a plumber who didn't show up. When I called to find out when the plumber might show up, I was told that he got stuck on another job. No apology. And they charge $149 just to come out. Unprofessional.

My heating system sounded like it was ready to explode just as the Pandemic kicked in. I thought who will come out and if they do it will be forever. NOPE! Called Beth the office manager and she promptly replied and scheduled a tech. Professional, explained the best option and proceeded to do an excellent job! I highly recommend this company!

I had to make a special trip there to pick up a receipt which was sent to me, but I inadvertently deleted it. We got to see each other face to face, and I was provided with said receipt. At least they were concerned enough securitywise to wait and see me face to face before providing me with it! I also learned something new from the service person who came to my house concerning the product he serviced.

I call them all the time for my restaurant. Beth handles calls all day, like a pro. Every master tech sent out knows their stuff inside-out. In one case, a master plumber they sent over just happened to be able to cut thru a lock my Township crew lost the key to enabling my business to run on time that day. Outdoor, water main was rusted over.
These guys aren't bargain priced, if that's what you're looking for. They're very fare, meaning, at more than one instance, I saved money because they shared straight up info with me. And, I feel I'm not being cheated.
They can file paperwork with the city/Township, as well. They have for me, everytime. In advance, too.
