Nicholson Plumbing, Electrical, Heating, and Air Conditioning

Hired Nicholson to fix my AC and paid for the part in 2022. They ordered it and it “arrived” in the fall. We scheduled a repair with them in March23 and they called the day of the appointment to tell us that the part came in defective. Multiple calls later they haven’t scheduled anything and cannot tell us when the part will be available. They routinely tell us that they’ll call us with an update and never deliver on that. We didn’t use the AC last year and it’s not looking good for 2023 either! Pick a service company that is competent and will care about your needs. Skip Nicholson.

Beware- Nicholson's customer service and schedulers will straight up lie to your face to get you to make an appointment. I had scheduled a maintenance, and specifically asked what was included, in particular asking if cleaning the outdoor units were included and was told yes. However when the "maintenance" was complete and I asked about the cleaning they apologized and said that wasn't included and that they were particularly sorry because the customer service had apparently been doing that a lot lately. This essentially means that it is commonplace for Nicholson to mislead and scam their customers, as I essentially paid many times the price of a filter for some guy to come in and put a single one in and then recommend more services from his company.
The worst part of the scam is that the person in front of you isn't the person you have the issue with so unless you want to rage at a random person, you have to just accept that you got scammed and hand over the cash. And the quotes are particularly useless since they are from a company that started your relationship off on a lie.

Wayne used his expertise and 30 years of experience to quickly diagnose a problem with one zone in our heating system. Turned out to be the thermostat. Had us back up and running quickly. Excellent experience all around which is what I have found generally with Nicholson for a dozen+ years.

Greatest HVAC tech I have ever seen. 1 of my 2 units was having an issue. Ghavri showed up early, diagnosed my issue in less than 3 minutes when the last tech from another company said he needed additional support after an hour. Will always call Nicholson first from here on out.

Ollie and Mike were great to work with. They explained all the repairs they would make and were very detailed. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. I’d have Ollie and Mike back to my home anytime.

Last week, I received a quote for a major HVAC installation from Nicholson. I am not going to complain about the pricing in their quote, but I am going to complain about the pressure they applied to accept the quote. I was told that if I didn’t commit to their captioned price that day that the price would go up. This sales tactic is not only crude, it cost Nicholson the work.

Nicholson is a great company I would recommend them to anyone. They responded very quickly, explained each steps on what will happen replacing
my furnace so made it very easy to make my decision.They came on time and did amazing job install the heat system for my house.

I've had a very positive experience with Nicholson. It started during the early sales process with Francis. He was very helpful, answered all my questions, and helped by suggesting a great Carrier heat pump and efficient gas furnace dual zone HVAC system to replace our two smaller and older Carrier HVAC systems. During the install, Andre and Billy were excellent and kept me up to date over the days they were here. Shawn just finished off the final piece of the install with the second thermostat this week. Very happy with all the service reps and with Nicholson overall.

This is the second service that we received for water related repairs from the company, and the technician who came to do the repairs, Brian, was very professional, knowledgeable and patient as well as Mike, they both worked together to fix the issues. It really shows that they are responsible and work with the customer to assist them and troubleshoot the issues. They are dependable and experienced. I would highly recommend them and request their services in the future.

Brendan did a fantastic job replacing the motor on our furnace. He showed up on time, and kept me completely informed throughout the install. He even went out a few towns over to get the job done today instead of having it shipped and coming back. I will definitely be using them again, and highly recommend to anyone needing plumbing/hvac work.
