New Era Plumbing & HVAC

I called New Era plumbing this morning. We are eight weeks into the COVID-19 lockdown and my master bedroom shower valve and handle assembly broke. The hot water was stuck on. The entire third floor of my house was dripping in condensation. The first place I called told me June 8th was their first availability. Then, I called New Era from an online advertisement. I am so glad that I did! Justin and Jeremy arrived quickly and did a very professional and thorough job. They observed all social distancing and PPE recommendations that are out there. They had to do a drywall cutting and replacing in my linen closet in my master bathroom linen closet to get to the plumbing. It was a mess when they took it apart because I don’t do a good job organizing and folding the towels and sheets in there. They literally folded everything and put it back in such an organized fashion I was stunned! This is just the icing on the cake! The installation was thorough and properly done on the shower valve, handle, shower head, and drywall access. I couldn’t be more pleased with this company, the service that they provide, the speed at which they arrived and took care of the business I needed, And their professional approach. If you need a good plumber, call new era! You will not be disappointed! To top it all off, they are a neighbor of mine. They have an office at 4 High St. in North Andover downtown. If you want to support a local business and get amazing work done, this is the company to call!

These guys were terrific, clean, efficient, prompt, explained things clearly on the service they were providing and gave me a road map of what I will need to do in the future. Were very careful working with masks, booties and using disinfectant after each surface they touched.

These guys responded quickly and offered a few solutions to our problem. They went above and beyond to access the frozen pipes in a small, muddy crawl space. We loved their expertise and they quickly restored our pipes and got our heat back on. Five stars, Nancy B. (They charged modestly. )

I called to get a quote on a small plumbing job. They were late getting here, quoted an outrageous price ($550.00), and when I declined they charged me $60 for a quote. Outrageous! Called another plumber, got a nice job for $150.00. Do not trust New Era...they will cheat you.

We reached out to SDP to have a new control box installed in our boiler room. They responded quickly to my inquiry and scheduled an appointment within only a few days, which was wonderful. I scheduled the appointment through Facebook Messenger, and the person with whom I was speaking had prompt answers, and was patient & flexible with the multiple questions that were being asked.

The two people who came out to the work were knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful of our home (they wore plastic boot covers). They did a fantastic job in getting the work done, and helped install two new Nest Thermostats. Towards the end of the appointment, they went beyond expectations by spending ~15minutes explaining how our heating system works, as we are in a new (to us) home, and didn't know a great deal about it.

Overall, I was very impressed with their service and skills. I'll definitely be using them again!

Recently, I hired New Era Plumbing for a small residential job in my home. The tub had a constant leak from the faucet and the toilets were constantly filling up water in the tank. We found out, we needed to replace the cartridges in the toilets. New Era came over precisely on time... literally, they knocked on my door at exactly 9:00 am. They were prompt, professional and clearly explained everything including price. They finished the job and gave me a coupon for future use. Would definitely recommend this company. I was very happy with them.
