Bob LaMattina's Plumbing and Heating is a 5 star operation. When I bought my first home 7 years ago, I could not get a plumber to come out to my house because I was not their customer. Bob LaMattina came and he has been coming ever since. He is high on customer service and providing value for service. They are always there for me, big or small. I don't think I have ever had to wait 24 hours for service, they come when you call.

I was so concerned about finding a new plumber after hearing of Bob LaMattina's retirement but was pleasantly surprised to learn his son, Bobby, had taken over the family business!
What a relief it was to find the professional quality, high integrity work ethic lives on in this Malden based business.
I recently had a need to call on LaMattina Plumbing for a clog in my basement. Bobby called me back immediately, was very accommodating as far as scheduling, arrived when he said he would, and left the place complexly cleaned up when the job was done. I was concerned with my oil boiler since it is older and I have a newborn in the house. Bobby came by to provide a quote on replacing my oil boiler and gave me an honest and very fair assessment. Rather than scaring me into a very expensive purchase (replacement and/or gas conversion), he tried saved me thousands of dollars with an alternative solution.

Very pleased with recent experience — gas boiler maintenance, replacement of anode rod in hot water heater, and replacement of some water pipe valves. Bobby responded quickly to initial call. Was very efficient and respectful of budget. Highly recommend.

Bobby & Tom were great. They came out on short notice to service a very old furnace and a boiler to get each ready for winter. They were very thorough and courteous. Bobby made helpful recommendations for furnace-replacement options.
