I recently used New England for the third time over the past several years in relation to a tankless hot water heater, as they are an authorized dealer for the brand we have. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Each experience was timely, efficient, and fairly priced. Well done to NE Gas!

I called them in the morning with no heat. I was told between 12 and 4pm. The tech was here a little after 12. He was polite and worked fast and fixed the problem which was a loose wire. The bill was $185 which I thought was quite reasonable. This was the second time using them. I highly recommend.

Wish I could write a review about the quality of their work, friendliness of their staff, or fairness of their prices but they just don't seem to want any new business. Contacted them in Spring 2021 to ask about purchasing and installing a new pool heater because they are listed as only 1 of 2 local vendors on Pentair's website. They never responded to my email. Left a voicemail and nobody ever called back, which I forgot about since we decided to do another project instead of the pool heater that year.

Fast forward to this year and we're definitely getting a heater. Decide to try them first in case the issues last year were just innocent technical problems. Called up on February 14th and was asked to send in an email with photos of our pool area. Person on the phone said if I didn't hear from anyone in a week to give them a call (apparently the lack of communication is such a problem with them that they have to give you a warning that nobody is going to follow-up). I wait until march 15th and sure enough nobody reaches out. I call the office again, person says they'll look into it and here we are on March 27th and nobody has emailed or called.

If customer service and professionalism are this poor before a job is even booked, I can't imagine it gets better after they have your money.

This company is awesomely good. When my relatively new pool heater sprung a leak, I first called the company that I bought it from and that installed it. They told me that it was my fault it was broken, that there was no way it would be covered under the warranty, and that I had to replace the entire heater. That did not sit well with me so at the recommendation of the pool heater manufacturer I called New England Gas Systems. Bruce carefully dismantled the system, investigated the problem, and most importantly identified and explained the root cause of the problem. But that’s not all. They also went to bat for me and convinced the manufacturer to honor the warranty on the part that was broken, which was a huge financial savings for me. They ordered all the right parts, including the parts to fix the root cause, and efficiently put everything together so that the pool heater now looks and is working like brand new.

I cannot say enough good things about the expertise, professionalism, and integrity of this company and its owner. They truly lived up to the ideals that you expect from a service provider and as a result have gained a new customer for life.

NE Gas has been servicing our gas boiler/hot water system for several years and really do a wonderful job. We just had them replace the old zone pumps and remaining original pipes in our heat system, which was about half the overall system, and the end result is very clean, neat, and works perfectly.

I wish I could give a zero star to this company. They fixed a water heater issue for our home in Middleton. The water heater started making a noise just after a week it was fixed. I called the company and she said the staff is in training for two weeks. In the last week I have called the company at least 20 times and no one answers the calls. I had to call Navien and get another heating people to come and check the water heater. The water heater is been ruined completely is what the new guy said. And now we are out of water for next week. Worse services ever.

My gas heating system decided to finally die just over a week ago. No heat, no hot water. I called more than a dozen local companies and only received one quote. Either they didn’t show up, or they did and then went radio silent. A friend called the local supply house to get a referral for me and I was put on the schedule just a few hours later for the assessment. Chad immediately saw what I already knew - a brand new system is needed. Honestly, full on rain through the system due to the horrible install job the prior guy did only 6 years ago. It was 50 on the first floor that day. Then we got the arctic blast, and I woke up to 40 degrees this morning. Frigid temps, the weekend approaching, and Christmas next week. Worst timing ever. The team contacted their customers scheduled for service today and tomorrow and worked it out. As Chad said, we have scheduled jobs to do but they have heat and you do not. Wow. With expectations that it would be Friday (tomorrow) before I would be good to go, I came home tonight to heat! The guys rallied and worked until 7:45 pm to make that happen for me, without me asking. Honestly I could not be more grateful or impressed. And having New England Gas Systems a local business in town makes the luck of connecting with them even better. They have some more work tomorrow to finish up, and I could not be more grateful for the compassion for a first time customer when I needed help desperately. And yes, the price was very fair without markup for the urgent situation I was in.

NE Gas Systems did a natural gas conversion from oil at my house. Very professional and best pricing. Very fast install! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing gas or plumbing work.

Have had them servicing my gas appliances since I moved to Danvers. Replaced a hot water heater. Highly recommend. Also did some plumbing work on a renovation.
