I used Green Energy to install my HVAC system and also for the annual maintenance. The Installers and Technicians are very courteous and professional and the installation was great. The owner also came out to price the job. The staff at the office are great and the communication from both the office and the service technician were excellent. I highly recommend Green Energy for installation and service.

I've had GEM install and maintain my heating/ac and hot water systems for about 4 years now. I've purchased the maintenance contract and always found the technicians to be professional and helpful during the annual maintenance. I've never had to call for repair but I would expect that if I did I would receive the same top notch service that I get during the annual maintenance.

Edson wrapped up today with the repair. We are very pleased with the level of service he provided. Samantha is amazing she stayed in touch and communicated with me along the way. The one regret I have is not reaching out sooner! We are new homeowners and it’s been quite turbulent dealing with finding services with companies that we trust. We repeatedly found ourselves having doubt and reservations. Choosing Green Mechanical Energy we felt confident and at ease. Again thank you very much! You guys are the best!!!

The systems Green Energy Mechanical installed 4 months ago seem to work alright but the company disappointed me in several ways.
First, they seemed more interested in selling me as much equipment as they could, not the most-appropriate equipment. They tried to pressure me by giving me the discount-that-expires-in-a-couple-of-days routine. I guess I should have known then.
As for the installation, I asked with everyone that I talked to to please contact me with any questions or decisions, that I work 15 minutes away and was glad to stop by any time. I made sure to be there at the start and stopped by a couple of other times. No one ever contacted me about anything and they made a few decisions, some major, that I would have preferred done differently.
Another issue was not cleaning up when they were done. They dismantled shelves and pushed them to the side, left sawdust and wall cutouts everywhere. They left tools behind.
Getting them to schedule the building permit inspection was a lot of work.
The final, and maybe most frustrating thing I discovered, was the gaping holes they left in my wall to the outside around the pipes. They promote themselves as green and sell the energy efficiency of the equipment they sell and leave air pouring in and out of the house - I could feel the draft when I put my hand by the holes.
There has to be a reliable, responsible mechanical contractor in the area but I don't know who they are.
Edit: In response to the owner, I didn't give your company a terrible rating. The system seems to work well, in the end. I just think there's room for improvement, based on my experience. I'm sure many of your customers have had a better experience.
Your responsiveness during the initial stages was certainly excellent. It was your employees who did the work that I think could have done a better job. There was one employee who visited before the work started and said he would be supervising the project but after that I never saw or heard from him again. Maybe I should have communicated more with you but I didn't think you were the appropriate person to address every little issue. The owner surely has more to do than deal with every customers' daily concerns.
I initially wasn't going to write a review at all because, I thought, I didn't have any significant complaints. And mostly they are small issues. But when I discovered the large hole to the outside around the piping I thought, all added up, it was less than an excellent, or even good experience. The quality inspector is a good idea but he didn't catch that big hole in the wall. I don't want to descend into debating each little issue but he also didn't address everything I brought up during his visit. I was tired of being a nuisance so I didn't pursue it.
I have the impression that yours is a new and growing company and you appear to have a lot of potential. I honestly wish you success. But I hope that beyond defending yourself here you will consider my comments seriously.

Terry from Green Energy was on time, the company sent text notifications several days in advance of the appointment and on the day of, Terry the technician also called ahead when on his way. Terry was thorough, informative, neat and efficient. Terry is a great representative for Green Energy! Green Energy pricing is very reasonable. We couldn’t be more pleased with the company and their technician. Would highly recommend!

We were very pleased with the service we received today from Green Energy Mechanical. Our technician Edson came with a mask on, which we were impressed with. He was very professional and thorough and was able to get our central air conditioner working on an extremely hot and humid day. He was able to answer all of our questions, and put us at ease. It is so nice to feel that you can trust, that you have been dealt with honestly. We highly recommend Green Energy Mechanical. We would definitely use again.

To my delight, they were able to send a technician immediately within the hour, who was able to look up the issue and fix it in half an hour. The technician Quinn was very professional and meticulous, stayed back a few extra minutes to ensure the problem did not recur.

After getting a quote for an HVAC system in my Newton home, I asked the techs if they had a team that could do a cleaning on my newer Navien combo-boiler. They sent out technician Mike Houghton who was really professional, gave me some tips about how my system might age and what to watch for. He was great, on-time and professional. I also really like that that company sent me a photo and name of the person coming to my home - it felt very well thought out and considerate. I will definitely keep doing business with these folks.

I have a hard time trusting contractors. I have had bad experiences in the past. David from GEN came to tune up and service my ac. I trust David. He was knowledgeable and explained everything and was honest with everything and my options.
