Mike #752 was great! He was knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. He quickly repaired the AC unit for so much less than expected especially when another company recommended replacement! Very pleased with service and thankful to have working AC.
I give Petro service -1- stars because that is the lowest possible rating. . If I could give negative stars I would. i have had no heat for 5 days in January. The technician who came was very nice but had no parts. The company had no parts on hand. The distributor did not open for another 48 hours (This happened on Friday night.) No one can say when the part will come in and they will not give us the identification of the actual part so we can order it. . We have been on hold over the course of the intervening days for hours. No one with authority calls us back. On the occasion of our one call back, the number did not pick up and did not accept voicemail . Be very careful of the so called service plan of Petro company if you actually want service.
Still a fantastic organization they're small with an eye for detail. Customer service is always prompt ready and willing to resolve any concerns. Here's to another 30 years together.

The set up was easy... too early to give a review, but so far so good. We have only had a tech make one delivery. But I do expect good service, so I will inspect what is expected, stay tuned.....
It's so expensive I can't afford it. Every oil delivery, I get a bill that's over $1000. I have no gage on the oil tank so I just go along with the total petro provides. I went on the smart pay plan which is $400 a month. I am going to do over my heating system so I no longer have to use oil. It's just not practical.
We have been satisfied customers of PETRO (in Maryland)!for nearly 30 years. I can’t tell you the number of times that they have helped us through difficult situations. Always with the BEST customer service around. Great communication skills, super friendly & professional. Feels like they really care about us & our family & appreciate our business. From help with budgeting, oil deliveries, furnace issues, running out of oil (our fault!), excellent skilled & professional technicians -always prompt & reliable. And availability 24/7 we feel we are in the best hands for all of our home heating & air conditioning needs. Special shout out to Megan who is based in the Essex Maryland office for quickly helping us with an unplanned need for a heat/oil delivery & billing issue. She is a perfect example of PETRO going above & beyond to take the best care of their customers! There has never been one time when I have called that they have not thanked me for being a long time loyal customer and letting me know how much they appreciate us!
Update- Larry called me and got me set up with a tech to come out and fix my issue. He apologized for them dropping the ball but it was good to have everything working again. Appreciate the speedy turn around after being contacted.
Been waiting for a part for my ac for 2 months. No update on a time frame for said part to come in. Have called in for a week straight and every person keeps telling me they’ll get a fuel supervisor to contact me. I’ve been calling them almost everyday for 2 weeks and I still haven’t heard back from said supervisor. Pretty unbelievable it takes this long just to get an update on a part. I understand there’s delays but how will I know if I don’t even know if these piece has even been ordered.
