Pohlman Plumbing provides the most courteous and professional plumbing services I have been able to find in 23 years of living in Anne Arundel County. I have depended upon them for routine and emergency repairs. They always arrive promptly; work hard and fast to get the job done right; and they always clean up their work site. Pohlman is the only place I call for plumbing services. Try them - I predict you will not be disappointed!

I was in need of a replacement tankless hot water heater. Joshua Pohlman and team were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and impressive in every aspect of the process. Joshua and his equally-friendly assistant, Otto, completed the entire replacement in under 3 hours and diligently cleaned every last bit of remaining PVC sawdust before leaving. I highly recommend Pohlman Plumbing!

I had an appointment window for 12pm-4pm. I requested a 20-30min courtesy call before arrival because I was at work. Well, I stepped away from my desk to use the bathroom, got back and saw that I missed the call (4 minutes). I called them immediately back. I was told that I had to reschedule because I did not answer the phone. If I requested a 20-30 minute courtesy call how could 4 minutes be such a make or break for an appointment? This occurred on a Friday; they don't work on weekends, so the 4 minutes it took me to go to the bathroom and immediately call them back lost me my appointment with the option of rescheduling for the following week. I declined and decided to go with another company. Anyone that would cancel an appt that had been on the books for 4 minutes does not need my hard earned money. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone!

Worst experience!! Poor job installing our hot water heater. One year later the corrosion is so bad the whole basement is about to flood. (Even when they were initially installing they had to return the next day because it was leaking due to poor soldering) I called them to repair the pipes before it becomes a huge flood and they demanded that we pay to fix the work. I offered photos to prove that the work was not done properly and they refused to work with me.
There are plenty of other plumbing companies, do NOT choose this one.

Joe was one of the best employers I had ever worked for. As for his brother Jake, he is very disrespectful, his attitude is terrible, he has no respect for his employees, he has a horrible habit of lying, and between the mood swings he has and the promises he doesn't keep would only lead you to believe he has some sort of mental illness. Other then that the employees in the field, the office team of Rachel, Joe, Taylor, and Dave will exceed your expectations everytime! Just try to avoid dealing with Jake.

The Pohlman folks were super responsive, had an appointment set immediately. They were nice, friendly, wore masks, and did the job in minutes. Highly recommended.

Disappointed - keep looking for a plumber. When there was a concern after $800 of work was done they wouldn't help and were very combative when I called. They even insisted I didn't have certain work done, despite that I had the bill they gave us noting all the work. They wouldn't come back out to check (just 2 weeks after the work!) without charging us. Bad experience - what a cut and run company.

The receptionist is the absolute worst! I made an appointment between 8-12 on a Tuesday. I called at 12:15 to find out if they were coming. She insisted I scheduled from 10-2 on Thursday. Not sure how that's possible when 10-2 isn't one of the options I was given.... well I told her I would have to reschedule because I had to work during that time so I wouldn't have scheduled that day or time. Well now we're to today. They were scheduled anytime after 1 PM. I just got a call at noon that the technician would be here in 15 min. I told her by mistake that I scheduled after 1:30 and she proceeded to yell at me and tell me no it's after 1 PM which was my mistake but really she thinks it's okay to yell at a customer. And now I have someone coming to my house before the time that I said I was available because when she got mad and yelled at me before I could say anything back she hung up on me. If I could give them anything less than a 1 star I would and this receptionist should not be working there.
