I called to try to get them to come out to service a new home we just bought. Initially spoke to Jim who told me he doesn't handle those types of requests and would transfer me to someone who does (it was the main number on the top of their website). Was on hold for a while when a man picked up who sounded like he was eating and when I said "Hello?" He said that it was the wrong line and put me back on hold. Then it sounded like the same guy picked up a moment later without food in his mouth this time and asked why I was calling, so I explained the same way I did to Jim. Then he said he doesn't handle that and he would get me to Sales. I waited on hold for Sales for a few minutes and then just gave up. Unprofessional to say the least. It felt to me like they don't really care about new customers.
I have used Arundel Cooling and Heating several times and they have always been on time and done a great job. I especially like the way they stay in touch and let me know what's going on and when work will be done.
ACH installed new gas furnace, a/c, and duct work. They also sealed off the old in-slab duct work that is now no longer in use. They cleaned up at the end of each day and was very respectful of me and my home. The corrected some installation issues with an existing heat pump done by another company which I put under a maintenance contract with ACH. fOR The summer maintenance check, ACH did a thorough inspection of the heat pump and tested the a/c on both units. There staff is always pleasant, explains what is being done and why, and is willing to answer any questions. I found ACH through a referral from a friend and am so happy I went with ACH.
Top notch A1 staff, equipment and sales people. Great folks. If you ever have a need or replacement of an older unit, these are the best folks in Baltimore to call.
While stuck on Rt 50 shut down due to a vehicle fire, we all had to get out of the way for a fire truck to get through. An Arundel Heating & Cooling vehicle was tailgating the firetruck to get through traffic. I hope they figure out who and fire them. (4pm Rt 50 June 7th) .
Overall a good experience, but there was an issue I honestly wasn't expecting. The filter got stuck on the coils of the HVAC. Had to re-adjust the filter and re-install it. Not the end of the world, but a bit disappointing.
The nicest people you would ever want to do business with. Very professional, courteous, and neat. There is just no other company I would consider for anything regarding cooling or heating in our home.
