    They never called me back! I do not recommend this company. I left a voice message and spoke to a rep on a weekend and he said he would convey the message and someone will call me back. Never happened. Abd this was the emergency ph no. Horrible service!

    Shady sales on date of equipment. We had met with several vendors, but Anne Arundel & Cooling promised us a system within max a week. Not a couple of working days later, after the office manager got back from the 4th of July, there was back-peddling on the date; it seemed earnest effort to track down the unit and timeline. We were then told Monday (days from original schedule.). Then, on Friday we get a call for scheduling that nope- the intent is for the k of the 19th. Now 2 weeks past the original timeframe. We aren’t mad about the supply chain problem. We wouldn’t even have been mad about a two week delivery. The issue is that we made a decision to go with this company based on false information. They kept misleading us on the situation. We would have made different decisions (say, an interim AC if we knew it was a two week late). In general, expectations management brought this rating down.

    We appreciated their promptness - when our HVAC broke down on a cold January day, a technician arrived within hours. Unfortunately, he didn't investigate down to the cause of the problem - he just swapped the burnt out transformer for a new one. The new one burned out overnight. So on a Saturday they sent out Louis, one of their experienced techs, and he tracked the problem down to a wire rubbing on a pipe and shorting the system. He did a thorough job and explained it well to me, so I'll be better prepared next time. There was no additional charge. We'll use them again, but ask more questions.

    I called when the Carrier thermostat flashed a "Call technician" alert and the air handler was making noise. The company performed a $99 diagnostic service call which I have no problem with. But they said the unit needed a variable speed fan module and the estimate was $1700. I asked for details since I could find the unit online for as little as $150. They emailed me back (I have the email) saying the $1700 was for the replacement unit and two hours of labour to install it. I bought the part with a year's warranty online for $230, my BF - who had never done such a replacement before and therefore was totally unskilled in such a thing - was able to take out the old unit and install the new one in a little more than an hour. Its been working fine for over a week. So BEWARE, they are way overpriced.

    Same day help was given during what I'm sure is normally a busy season. Lou, I think was his name, was diligent and fixed the problem plus some...long story. Was concerned at first about price given the season and our current situation, but Arundel Cooling & Heating was very reasonably priced in mine and my husband's opinion. Call back service, updates on when servicer was on the way, and timing was the absolute best I have ever seen with any kind of home servicing company. Would recommend to anyone who asks.     My request for a non-emergency appointment was met on the same day. Text confirmation of the tech’s arrival time was very helpful. The explanation of what was wrong with the furnace helped me to make a decision about what to do next.

    At a later date I decided to have both the furnace and AC replaced as the existing systems were close to 20 years old. The estimator presented several options and made sure that I received all applicable rebates. I have been very satisfied with the performance and also with my energy bills.

    We had Arundel Cooling and Heating service our air conditioning system. We were having trouble with the condenser pan and water was running thru the unit instead of into the sup pump. Arundel came out right away and fixed the problem. We were very happy with the results. We will definitely call them again if we have problems.

    Hottest day august 12th no central air!! A call to Lynn at 7:59 am, that got me Michael Ryan to hunt down a new unit that would be compatible with rest of the system (replaced 6 years earlier). Friday the 13th, guys are here on time, efficient, tidy, friendly, explained clearly. I'm so happy about the experience. I know nothing about central air, but I certainly know great service! Thank you!
    P.S. This was my 2nd purchase at this house, previous address purchased a heat pump...on Easter Sunday, after lightening strike!

    I stopped by to see my father-in-law this afternoon. His A/C wasn't working and the house was 89 degrees inside. I called Arundel Cooling & Heating and they were able to send a technician to the house in less that 45 minutes! The A/C's capacitor's had blown. Dave had the part on his truck and replaced it. He also researched the Carrier unit and found out the part was still under warranty. He cleaned the coil and replaced the filter with one already in the house.. The bill was only for the service call and labor. Back in business before the upcoming hot holiday weekend. I cannot thank this company enough for their quick professional service. I highly recommend Arundel Cooling & Heating!
